Theyre doing nothing but setting the stage for a bad scene, so to speak. The same thing was happenening with computer graphic cards, and thankfully that bubble burst but the damage has been done. Speaking of the Bronco, I'm surprised Scotty didn't mention the 2.7L Ecoboost catastrophe. Us Ford sales reps have been informed about the issue......many times. From what I'm seeing, Ford's build quality is just gonna to continue to drop, as time goes on. However..... I will say that the 3.0L Bronco Raptor is an absolute beast. And Ford has pretty much mastered the performance of their mass produced, direct injection, dual over head cam, cross plane crank V8s, taking into account the required modern emissions regulation hardware/software. That being said, I'm still a MOPAR guy.

Is "made in Michigan" really any better than "made in Mexico?" Manufacturing in the States isn't what it used to be. Companies here don't treat their employees as they should, which causes a big drop in employee effort and performance.

Yeah the engine goes out before the fuel filter.

But, I want the eco-mobile with a plastic lookalike body!

I wouldn't mind a Bronco with the 351. If I could find one that wasn't rusted out or one that wasn't all beat up.

I just can't wait to get a new car and be able to look at it, and think of the upgrade I can do to it, instead of looking at my 02 shitbox truck and thinking "what should I fix today" 💀

That 3cyl in the bronco sport also has cylinder deactivation so it's really a two cylinder part time.

After having driven all sorts of these things my takeaway is the raptor in particular is a jeep killer. Not my favorite type vehicle but for what it is the controls on the inside are honest. It also "talks" (growls) which is fun.

The new Defender could learn from the new Bronco. It uses a unibody platform.

So Scotty, *TURBOS DON'T SUCK* if they're on a V6 or V8 but *DO SUCK* if on anything smaller? Yeah, we know smaller displacement engines can't take the stress of them but make up your mind. Twin turbos.......twice as many to break - cha ching - cha ching.😲😲😲

Take the valves out and have them hardened correctly.

I've been working on car's my whole life and it seems like all "Twin Turbo" engines are not reliable

Ford missed the mark. Should’ve been built on the F150 frame, not the Ranger. This is a reboot of the Bronco II, not the “full size” Bronco

I'm a Michigander and my brother owns a mechanic shop and I can attest to this knowledge

The reason the Ford Bronco sucks is that it's not a 1994 Toyota Celica.

Got to love the little scheme they pulled with them Bronco sports though! They got a lot of people with that one.

His arms and hands alone say a lot! 😂

Plastic oil pan, plastic timing cover, plastic valve cover, a turbo charged tiny engine ready to grenade with the slightest amount of service time, weak independent suspension, excessive exterior plastics. For anybody that knows anything about cars, the thing should sound like a ridiculous nightmare that would never make 150,000 miles without extensive repairs.

Three cylinder engine are just sad. I don't care if they turbocharge it and it makes 180 hp. It's still sad.

Bronco Sport is an amazing vehicle! I didn’t want the big Bronco because it was WAY out of my price range. Also didn’t want to spend a fortune on gas. But the main reason is the way it handles. It’s based on the Escape platform so it drives more like a car than a truck. The 3 cylinder turbo definitely has enough pep for me too.

According to Scotty, no one should buy any vehicle made after 1994

People here in Palos Verdes are paying 20-40k over MSRP.

If you want a real bronco, get a 1996 model or older, there built out of Ford F150, and they have V8 engine instead of twin turbo v6 engine that blows up at 1600 miles.

I remember first seeing the so called Bronco Sport at the Ford dealership I used to work at and boy was it underwhelming to say the least. I was like we revived the Bronco only for it to be a small compact car??? It was only later confirmed that they were gonna make a full size bronco and even I will admit the full size is pretty sick.

I don't like Ford's and G M. I'm an import car guy. Toyota need to bring back the Scion TC, they should've made it with 300hp Rwd turbo charger with Aftermarket supports from Exterior mods, to performance modifications.

Bought an Escape when these came out.. it looked the same IMO to the "Sport" - except of course the outside look.
