In this video we talk about why the BMW M8 Competition Convertible is the most expensive M car. The 8 series is the top of the line in the BMW model lineup and when you add the M letter in front of it, you get something that is pretty special, the M8 Competition. When you look at BMW M cars, there are alot of foreign characteristics. All wheel drive, forced induction, and some argue not as motorsport driven anymore.
But when you look at the M8 Competition car on its own, its a pretty impressive package on paper. 600+ horsepower, luxurious interior, great quality, and of course, that convertible top experience. As mentioned, some think the M brand isnt what it used to be, but dont get it confused, BMW M still knows how to make great cars. Does that continue with this new BMW M8 Competition Convertible, we're going to find out.

I love mine. I traded my 650i convertible in on it. I got white with silverstone interior. Extended carbon fiber package, B&W sound system. A blast to drive and just all around awesome. I had complete paint protection film and ceramic coatings.

I think the Z4 m40i is the best looking BMW yet.

Actually not a fan.. I’ll stick to the m850i vert which looks incredibly more appealing whilst saving plenty in comparison. Nice review nonetheless.

I own a 2022 competition and it blows the doors off the 850 Nicer interior awesome exhaust,and fast as hell .sorry guy

@louisalonso1695 I drove both...the M8 have an extra 100hp and stiffer suspension but it's not that noticeable. The M850 does have "M" car options as well and the interior looks better IMO.
It is the most beautiful car in the world
I think the best choice in this range is the M850i. If you want to spend 150K and want a sports car convertible, the 911 Cabriolet is a better choice. The M850i is perfect for almost all drivers.

I really don't know why these lose so much value. They are really amazing cars. The perceived cost of a breakdown out of warranty doesn't help I'm sure. But they are awesome! 911, great car. But the Turbos sound like vacuum cleaners and all look the same. To me.

Agree. Considering rear seats are useless. I love my z4 M40i I think it even looks better.
