Here's Why Rolex Can't Fix the BLRO Bezel | Watchfinder & Co.
The Rolex GMT-Master II 126710BLRO is undoubtedly one of the best and most desirable watches of today-just try and buy one new if you don’t believe me-but aside from its scarcity, there’s a single complaint owners have had that stands out as a tiny blemish on an otherwise perfect watch: the bezel, or to be more specific, the colour of the bezel. Well, we’re going to try and fix it.

That multi-coloured version looks more like the Rolex GMT-Master LGBT
I don’t know what this guy is talking about. The color of the bezel is absolutely perfect, it's like the vintage bakelite bezel!
This channel has inspired me to start saving up - I've officially devoted myself to putting 50$ everyday into my savings account, until someday soon; I can finally afford an A. Lange & Sohne.
When I saw the title, I thought this video was going to be about fixing the paint splash on the GMT hand.
Rolex did fix the color. Around the end of 2018, the BLRO bezel began being produced with darker colors generally referred to as Mark II. The lighter version from earlier in the year is referred to as Mark I. In hand, the two bezels are noticeably different.
Shouldn't the colors on the multi-colored bezel be mirrored horizontally? 12 is midday, not 24.
How about calling your new multi colour design the ‘Joker’? Goes well with the Batman ...
To be honest, I like the slightly subdued colours of the current BLRO
Nice idea with the gradient, but the colors are all flipped. You'd want your 6 am to be that sunrise color, midnight to be dark, and noon to be bright blue.
I see what you’re saying. But am I the only one who likes the muted colour?
Gradient bezel is a fun thought exercise, but your colors don't really align with the actual hours on the bezel? (shouldn't it be rotated 180º, so the darkest portion is at
When my Pepsi arrived I was actually pleasantly surprised by the darker colours. I have the Mk2 bezel that's more dark blue than purple. I feel that the watch is big and flashy enough without needing brighter colours that would attract more attention. Having said that, it looks nice in the video and I wouldn't say no if Rolex manages to figure it out.
About the multi-coloured bezel, I am sure that the 12 must represent noon not midnight and hence coloured blue instead of black and so the rest of the colours must be shifted 180 degrees.
Thank you for not having video intros! I hate it when KZreadrs think they're Steven Spielberg with their overproduced intros. Guys like you who get to the point with information properly presented and without the fluff should win the internet version of an academy award.
The lighter color that you changed (fixed) made it look even nicer! I totally agree with you.
How do you get access to such technical information? I'd love to know all the engineering/manufacturing details of these watches.
The gradient bezel is pretty cool! For the Pepsi though, I prefer the "muted" colours. They still pop in the sun, but aren't too in your face and vibrant in everyday conditions.
I like the font of the aluminum bezel so much better...
For a moment then I thought we’d gone back to April 1st.
