Love this new Range Rover. Of course I can’t afford it. But no money needed to love it. ❤ Fallen in love at first sight when it came out. They have shown how to make a suv or a car look gorgeous and modern without making it alien. Simplicity is the best. Elegant and sleek. Have to work harder to get it someday.

18:19 Such a nice conclusion, I used to own a 2014 autobiography LWB RR. This car is amazing and good for everyday use. The car is solid as well as it looks. The thing I regret the most in the past few years is that I sold RR and got 2017 G63 and now Bentayga, RR is still the best in these three. Very stable while at high speed(170mph), it could go light off-road and won’t get stuck and It's relatively low-key that you can drive it to anywhere without getting people’s attention. Some people might concerned about it’s quality, tbh the only two issues I had for owning two years is blurred screen(only once while I shift the gear to Rear, fix the problem after restart the engine) and un-lockable trunk door. Not too bad compare with my Bentayga🤷

Escalade definitely looks cool and just badass, but the Range Rover is just in a plane of its own to the point where this comparison feels unfair.

This was just a bias video honestly. A lot of features he didn’t say about the Escalade.

Range Rovers always offer the best seats on the market, because you will inevitably need them when you and your family are waiting for the tow truck.

Drive a range rover u will be hoked ....don't have to be a new one just makes u feel special

Sorry but was not a Cadillac fan but looked at both and I got 22 Escalade, but not in black I got the red loaded. To me it came down to maintenance and technology in vehicles

Range Rover autobiography is my favorite SUV and my dream 😍😍

The Escalade V has more Hp and available in extended wheelbase and is still far cheaper than the RR. To the credit of the RR, it is a true, off-road capable vehicles with a Bentley interior. While the Escalade is gussied up upper middle-class vehicle. BTW, the refrigerator option is available in the Escalade.

My 2018 RR LWB had an automatic side step. Im not sure if that one in video just does not have the option or they removed the option...

That intro is « pumping iron»! Should have lasted a little bit more reps on the bench press given that dynamic soundtrack! Great review!

i think some of your info is lacking but imo i still think the escalade is better. the interior layout, the price, and the longevity is better than the range rover. and you get a fridge with freezer mode in the escalade as well as a transfer case for 4wd hi / low. the escalade also tows 8200 lbs on 2wd models.

I always thought the Escalade looked better than the range on the exterior. Now I think aesthetically the Escalade has a nicer interior too. The Escalade will definitely hold up better as well. The range may use higher quality materials meaning it’s leathers and woods but ehhhh overall I’ll take the Escalade. I never totally understood the Range Rover hype tbh

I don't either. He over hyped the Range. Ive been in many cars and the whole "higher quality" thing is a lie most times. Its leather at the end of the freaking day. Its the padding underneath that matters most. Plus the escalade is a truck. It can tow. No one would dare want to tow consistently with a Rover. The maintenance would kill ya.

FYI you can get automatic deployable sidesteps on the RR and definitely should have put it in access mode if you are doing a comparison for ease of accessibility. I love my ‘24 P530e but also like the Escalade… would love to drive an Escalade V sometime

It is a crime to even compare the two. Range Rover is not an ordinary car like the Escalade.

Terrific review content... Abstinent cars have always had a hint of cheapness no matter how much you spend. Maybe less so with the Cafdi..

Escalade is nice, but it’s not even in the same league as the Range Rover.

Disagree. They actually are in the same league because they're both the top land yachts of their kind. Escalade is the nicest American suv and Range is the coolest euro one. Both you can get for around $100,000. Both you see in rich communities and drive ways. Just 2 different approaches to luxury. I myself would get an escalade. More room, more dominant presence, more flashy, cheaper to maintain, better reliability, better sound system, more seats, massage chairs, supercruise, bigger screens etc

Hello, you missed some points in the Escalade, and it also has a cooler/freezer even in the center console. The only downside to it against the Range Rover is the 2nd row seats which have less options compared.

I thought the escalades magnetic ride control can eliminate bumps completely... and eliminates nose diving and body leaning, so you can virtually drink a cup of coffee while drive aggressively without it even spilling So how does the range compare to that ? That would be a real demonstration

I’ll choose the Esclade every time❤

@@SDN117 JLR is a British car brand owned by TaTA… that doesn’t make it an Indian car brand! Otherwise Lamborghini would actually be German not Italian along with many other car brands owned by foreign investors.

It's something about the Escalade presence that seems so much more attractive. I'm not going to lie, that Range Rover is looking really good though. But my choice will still be the Escalade. I've always had a soft spot for Escalade's.

It’s not about practicality in these cars but which one is bigger so people could start to take you seriously which brings me to the point that both of these are to small,I would go with RAM Mammoth

I’ll take the Cadillac. The interior looks far nicer to me. The RR interior looks dated. The center screen looks like an after thought. I like the outside looks of the RR a little bet better. But, overall the Caddie is a far better choice. Lastly RR would be expensive to maintain.

I love the Range Rover, but I would only ever lease one. This was also backed up by my JLR dealer friend.

Escalade only problems are electrical the engines are easy to fix Range it's everything lol

5:19 the Range Rover does come with a side step that is deployable, it is a 5k extra though.

An Escalade isn't the same goal as a RR respectfully. You're supposed to hear the engine noise in a Escalade. The RR is nice, but it's overrated. Between it's reliability. Many people sweat it because of it being British, but could make the argument, with the cost you should have used the Escalade V. Great vid.

Apples and Oranges. Compare RR to ESV then we shall see.

The Range Rover doesn’t compete with the Escalade. If anything the Range Rover competes with the x7 and GLS. The Escalade competes with the Navigator and Wagoneer. That being said I think the Escalade and X7 are the leaders in their respective class. I own an Escalade and I can tell you that it is simply a Tahoe in a tuxedo. Drives great and is extremely capable due to it’s truck under pinning but as far as interior it slightly falls short of a Mercedes and BMW. Can’t really anything about the Range Rover as I would never dare buy one.

Interesting. I see a lot of comments about the Escalade "lasting", yeah if you mean it will start and run for longer sure, but like any other GM SUV it will be a rattle trap when the miles really pile on and the interior will feel like shit like any other GM product.

The last gen escakde looed awesome. The current one just looks like a peterbilt. I like the yukon denali better than the escalade.

I still would choose Cadillac! Cheaper and much more reliable! They say lease RR but dont buy them!

The escalade is like driving a mammoth into the road and i dont like big beefy cars i want normal one so i like range rover more

GIANT STEAK vs overpriced horderves

Sam I am in a dilemma right now. Not sure if I should pre order the GLI or kick my ego to the curb and get the CRV. Both to me are similar in pricing, but not sure if I want to spend a lot on the GLI even if its more for performance. However the CRV even with the turbo engine, still feels weak from watching videos but is more functional.

The RR seems more luxury and eloquent the Cadillac inside looks so cheape. The Cadillac has better spacing and more roomy for big person and a big family like me

Size has comparables. Luxury is subjective though. When i see an escalade i think of an uber x driver and taxi drivers. when i see a range i see more class because it is not associated with uber x drivers and taxi companies

Escalade is nice but compared to celestiq and lyriq, needs a refresh to compete with the bold rivals. Cadillac has the resources but needs to work on implementing them.

They both are amazing machines, but you were a bit biased for the RR throughout your review. You’re normalizing the Escalade as if it’s a Toyota vehicle.

The escalades come with coolers in the center console ...

The Escalade would have a cheaper long term cost of ownership value.

You do get a cooler with the Escalade they were the first to do that

The Range Rover might be the better choice. If you own a auto body shop. Cadillac is 100% better

You need to try both cars to give fair feedback... i tried both... i liked both... both are amazing on street... but RR has higher edge in all aspects.

that you come from Britain you’lld choose Rover than Cadillac. however hp Rover is more than Cadillac, Cadi can’t go fast as fisical factor (big body).
