I feel like much of that may be due to changing norms around tattoos. In the past, it was really only the tough outcast who would have tattoos everywhere, but nowadays you are just as likely to find a really down to earth guy have them.

As for the bodyguards, that's not being rude, that's just protecting yourself. He did get his house robbed back in 2018, then he wrote the song Paranoid about it, so I'm guessing that a famous artist like him would have to have bodyguards for that reason.

Post doesn't try and pretend to be anything which is one the reason I really like him. But he makes great music!. I said music. I didn't say he was a great rapper. Or a greater rocker. He makes his own style of music and every new song he puts out makes the world like him more and more. Journalists like him seem to be divorced from hip hop, considering how multifaceted the genre is. There is more to hip hop than street life, in many cases it spans into Tyler the creators psychedelic beats on Igor all the way to Aesop rocks vivid story telling. His last line was completely out of place. i agree. the problem i think is when say a white artist is overly promoted and embraced for doing the same thing minority artists were already doing (being inspired by them). in the case off rap i don´t think this necessarily aplies thou. also i dont think its the person whos inspired by other cultures who are in the wrong , but how societys react to it (we do live in a society)

My teenager listens to Post and I never liked it (im a rock guy) until I heard his rock/blues covers and wow...I was blown away. He can play guitar and has a fantastic voice for rock and blues. If he ever decides to cross over with his own rock material I have no doubt it will be huge and he will have a receptive audience.

Great video! It's a shame that a lot of the people who clicked on your video didn't stick through all the way, otherwise they would have been a bit more enlightened about the topic entirely. The only point I very slightly disagree with is Rockstar being Rock. It does have elements of hip hop from its beat and does have 21 Savage on it doing a pretty alright verse. But I'd say Posts vocals (Unless he has a different way of putting it himself) would be R&B to a degree. I still enjoy his stuff no matter what genre it would be referred to though! Thanks for the video!
