I think Messi is incredible and even I feel like I almost take him for granted. What he does on a regular basis is just impossible and people need to soak in what they can of this man's career before it's over. Valverde was excellent manager - he got most out of Messi and his tactics involved all other players conceding few goals and creating space for Messi. When Barcelona sacked Valverde, I instantly congratulated Zidane for the La Liga trophy.

I am just happy for him. Happy that he finished the year on a high. FIFAs The Best, 6th golden shoe and his records breaking 6th Ballon D’or. Individual awards are secondary but they keep you hungry. Messi doesn’t show it but the guy has an immense mentality, otherwise he wouldn’t be at top for 14 years straight.
I can’t believe that there will be a time where he won’t be playing anymore, it’s just unreal how incredible of a player he is, I don’t ever wanna stop seeing him play 😔
