Here's Why CHRIS WEBBER Isn't Hall Of Fame! Stunted Growth

Спорт

Chris Webber is one of the best power forwards to ever play the game. That statement alone should put him in the Hall Of Fame. But as of now he's not. His history of mishaps is well documented, from the scandal in which all his records were stripped from history, banners taken away from Michigan, and all his achievements erased as if he never even played in college or high school for that matter. Without those it's hard to make a case for him simply off his NBA career. And a stellar career it was. The powers that be aren't supposed to judge off court issues when judging a players HOF status, but as humans with emotion and feelings about players, it's unwritten, but we know why they aren't letting him in. Here's 3 reasons he isn't there. Mayce Webber Stunted Growth.

@@fun364 because one has something to do with basketball, and one does not. If you do enough research on your sports heroes, you will often find they are disappointing people, often when relating to sex or family. You can bash Larry Bird for abandoning his daughter. You can criticize Julius Erving to allow his sons to wind up alcoholics and drug addicts. You can spend all day putting people in the dirt for their mistakes. But then you wouldn't have much of a Hall of Fame. If you want to evaporate Malone's basketball stats, then you might as well wipe out Stocktons since they were all associated with Karl. And I guess you take away two of Jordan's titles, because they happened against Karl....

Even if the NCAA doesn't want to pay players directly, they should be able to profit from their own nam and likeness. To forbid them for m doing so is the real in america injustice. I applaud Webber for getting paid ASAP. Webber's merits as an individual player clearly merritt being in the HOF. And he'd be in there already if he spent his prime playing for better franchises than Washington and Sacramento. Sacramento got robbed in the 2002 playoffs. They outplayed the Lakers. And as a young basketball fan, that was the first series in which I recognized an officiating bias against the less popular team.

Webber was probably the only 6’10 power forward that had finesse. He was a silky smooth player that made it look easy. I don’t think the scandal of his youth is the only reason he’s not in the HOF. He had good seasons in the NBA but nothing that really stood out like the winning the scoring title, MVP, leading the league in FG % or leading his team to a championship. Just being an all star isn’t good enough to get into the HOF. Damn I miss the NBA from the 90’s.

Props to him finally getting in. But Stunt #4 why it took so long: 2002 "Sacramento Queens." The way that squad choked. Just remember, STERN and DONOGHY were not on the back of Peja Stojakovic's jersey, when he shot that airball, in the closing seconds of game 7. Killed that whole team legacy.
