As someone who grew up having to go to church, never heard it told like this. Makes way more sense, and how eve isn't just made of Adam or portrayed as the original sinner who enticed Adam to do the same. I like this way more than what I was told growing up. Also shows god as actually having a plan not just reacting. I haven't been to church or pursued any farther knowledge in religion since I was in high school, but this makes me want to hear more of this view

er-r-r-r "Also shows god as actually having a plan not just reacting." ?? Or, seeing god is by definition 'omniscient', doesn't that mean his 'plan' WAS to create things he COULD react to? He then created more ground for reaction by deliberately creating 'sin' and serpents and women unable to resist temptation (none of which existed, nor COULD have existed, without his input. And ALL that MUST HAVE BEEN DELIBERATELY PLANNED, since god, again by definition, is NOT able to commit errors nor rely upon 'chance' Ask the rabbi: he won't respond to me for some reason!🙁

Notice God only did this with Adam and not Eve. So the the very breath that God passed through Adam was taken from Adam to create Eve and so on. I believe this is how we are all connected to God. We are all born with curious nature about a higher power. In my opinion that’s because it’s part of who we are, it’s already in us.

It amazes me how knowledge is kept from even those who appear to be Godly people? Pagan religions teach that we are 3. Body, Soul and Spirit, but the Torah teaches that we are 2, "Soul(body) and Spirit." Pagans teach that the Soul is some type of invisible thing inside our bodies that can be taken away from us by a being they call the Devil (Satan, Serpent, etc.) when we sin? "Fear him who can kill the soul and body in hell" Mt.10:28. Can your body go to hell with you when you die? No, so this statement is fictional. The term "Soul" is simply a Torah word for "body" which was corrupted to support the Trinity invention. For instance the LORD God said in Lv 5:2, "If a soul touches anything unclean...(HE) hath offended; Lv 5:3, "if a soul touches anything unclean, (HE) hath trespassed; Lv 5:4, " If a soul swear (and pronounce with its lips....) "No soul shall eat blood" Lv 17:12. Here's a perfect example that soul means body, Lv 22:11, "But if the Priest buys any soul with money....." The Priest has to feed that person! I hope this knowledge helps someone.

The Bible was written around 2,000+ years ago. But it’s never been imminent until specific events happen first. For example, the 7-year Tribulation hasn’t always been imminent bc Israel hasn’t always been a nation. That had to be in place first & that didn’t happen until 1948😳 They also have to build their 3rd temple- which IS currently in the works. We know the mark of the beast is made mandatory 3.5 years into the Tribulation. So only until recently, is the rapture and Tribulation any day now since prophesies are being fulfilled🙂

It would seem there is much that those who contributed to the New Testament studied and were aware that you may not be aware...thus the need to study with real Rabbi's who are well versed in all of God's inspired writings. The 66 version is based on a group of non-Jewish church leaders to create one book charted by Constantine do quell the arguments of what is in and out of the 66....but there were over 90 books that could have been included including the Book of Enoch, Maccabees, and those that are included in the Catholic version of Scripture. If God brought you to this group to study, then maybe you might consider learning versus assuming you are all knowing...just a suggestion. If God did not bring you here but you came to cause confusion...well we know who the author of confusion is.

Adam did not reach 1000 years and he died. Yes, God tell the truth. 2 Peter 3:8 8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

@@andywilliam367 this scripture is for something else - I believe this scripture means a time line for all creation (the current year on the Hebrew calendar is 5781, so we would be in the 6th day... The seventh day will be God's day of rest - when Christ comes and reins on Earth for a thousand years of peace...) This scripture may have meanings for other mysteries as well... But the original 7 days of creation were literally days... Think about Cain and Abel their births etc and the time lines of the generations until David. It wouldn't make sense if you applied your idea there...

@@ab-in3zn that was my response to @Paulina Wang comment about death of Adam by eating fruit. I agree what you mean, but my point is about God said death will come if Adam eating the fruit. Genesis 3:22, "The lord God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and Take also from Tree of Life and eat and live forever." All the commandment about the tree is fix. God saw he was still lonesome, put him to sleep, took a rib and made Eve… I know all things are possible with God but it doesn’t say he spoke Adam, Eve and all the animals into being as he did most everything else. I've been searching for God for so long. I've been terrified of going to hell. My life has been so unconventional. I ended up transgender. That was a big no no. I ended up with two wives. Didn't even chase after them, it just happened. It came with immense trauma. I've made every mistake in the book. However, if I wouldn't have made the mistakes I did, 3 children, their mother, one of my wives, my best friend, a homeless woman, and another homeless woman would all be dead. Not only that, none of them believe in God, yet I have the most intense dreams. I ended up in every place I was not supposed to be. I even ended up in a cult and then 4 different religions. I've met more people than I can keep track of. One day though, I had 3 dreams where I met God. He showed me how he saved my life, what my dreams meant, and a secret to how it all works. Now no one understands how everything can be so bad, how I've made so many mistakes, be told I am going to hell, yet every day I talk to Him. I love him so much. I only want to be better for Him and I feel like I fail all the time. I do fail all the time, but I try again.. thank you. Seriously thank you. Your wisdom is exactly what I needed to carry on.

Intuition is hearing the voice of god. This is the gift of knowing and connecting to the Devine. When you do this, you will understand this teaching to its core. It’s that simple. The voice that tells you to take the umbrella 🌂 when you leave in the morning, even though you don’t think it’s going to rain. The voice that makes you pause while driving and suddenly you miss being T-boned in an intersection when someone runs a red light. 🚦 When your ear hurts like you’re about to get an ear infection, but your child is really in need of some medicine to prevent one. This is the gift of the the 6th senses that we all possess yet have forgotten. We are here to remember and raise consciousness of the planet. 🌍 Peace be with you. Brilliant message.

They must resolve it this way for everything to occur within a literal 24 hour time frame however the Torah does not give such a literal time frame as evening and morning in the sense that we know it as was not created until the 4th day! Also it makes no sense at all that the Spirit could enjoy the fruit of God's labor in 6 literal 24 hour periods! When you see everything done on the 6th day you know Hashem did not mean a literal sun set, actually if you take the text literally it would be 12 hours because the text states evening (dark where 3 stars can be seen) and morning ( the time at which you awake or your surroundings become visible from the light)

God sees the outcomes but he allows his children the choice, it is the choices made by his children that God reacts to. We obey it brings him joy and we gain favor or we disobey his law and it brings sorrow and wrath. God can perceive the outcomes of every choice we make but that doesn't mean he sees the one we will make. This is why he has had to intervene in people's lives to counter the traps laid in front of us by evil forces but if we ignore God's warning then we cannot escape the consequence of it.

I tell you you religious folk don't really read your Bible, every bit of The Narrative of the Bible is about how the bloodline of Seth was to remove the children of the Angels which will referred to as the Nephilim, the term Nephilim in the Hebrew means the Fallen ones. Everyone remembers Israel was given Canaan land the land of milk and honey, they just don't seem to remember God commanded them to kill all the women men and Children of the Nephilim race in order to receive it, and allegoric history which leads to them inheriting the Angels first a state at the end of the book, wise men call it heaven. The religious community has no business messing with this book you're not part of it and you're a product of replacement Theology and there's no salvation in that ideology

1 Timothy 2:14 says Adam was not deceived, but Eve was deceived. How can she be deceived if she was the one that knew what God really wanted? I appreciate the Rabbi's interpretation. I believe Christians can learn a lot from Jews in understanding the bible. They are the ones that have been chosen by God to bring the knowledge of God into this world. In this case, however, I have to disagree with the Rabbi. According to Timothy, Eve was deceived, meaning she was tricked by Satan. Adam on the other hand was not deceived. He knew what was going on. He knew what would happen. I think that Adam made a choice. His choice was to stay with God or to fall from grace with the woman that he loved. Adam chose to fall with Eve.

Loved your in-depth knowledge of the story of Adam and Eve. So my theory is in this vast universe we can all make our own heaven or hell because we have free will. But in this vast universe there must be higher and lower levels of the way we choose to live on other planets. In the Indian tradition in India they refer to 7 higher levels and 7 lower levels with our earth being on the 7th level. So when we loose this earthly body will we go up a level or down a level or just come back again.

Wet the conclusion with nine hours? In nine hours did Adam name all the thousand + animals, did he begin to feel alone, did he sleep, did he know Eve so well that he would listen to her and not God? I don't know where you got those 9 hours from, but it seems totally wrong to me, and without any biblical basis. God bless you.

Also he forgets to mention the seed of the serpent and the plan of satan to corrupt it. Notice he mentions eating from the tree and not the beguiling of Eve. And yes 9 hours sounds a little to accurate for a simple man to know that. Material reasoning has no equal concept to spirituality, man trying to make reason out of what we don't understand is as effective as it is detrimental.

It is not to be added to by other sources as the Kabbalah or other Jewish mystical writings, like this man does. What is not written in this account does not belong with it. At least that is not how to deal with scripture if you want to understand it.

It is determined "vaguely" by the lineage record told in other books in the Torah collection. The conclusion, reached and agreed upon by religious scholars, is that the earth must be approximately 6,000 years old. Therefore, based on this interpretation, and the age of Adam at the time of his death, they extrapolate the age of Adam at the time of the "Fall" (which would be a decimal figure) and approximate "1 hour" of his accumulated existence, at the time. Eve, of course, would have been perhaps 45 minutes old ... hence, the ease with which, the serpent was able to "dazzle" her with visions of grandeur. Now, before you begin searching the ground for hefty rocks ... let me just say that I recognize this as a theory offered by some ... but, not necessarily my own. After all, it is not nearly as important what I think, as it is what you think. So, if you will excuse me ... I feel the urge to gather rocks. 😉

Unfortunately I have a lot of yuck from my childhood that I'm trying to heal from but, fortunately God keeps giving me another day to build a better relationship with thee. 😇 I'm finding more strength throughout the years to understand and heal from the hurt though. I know what's right and I know I am of the light, just tainted by darkness. I think now more than ever we all should make right with God and sprint towards God vigorously. Not sure I completely buy this version, but I appreciate someone asking clear & simple questions about this story/any religious story, and then listening for an answer from God in their heart (bc he is in our hearts). I think this is a lot more honest than just believing some particular interpretation for no real reason other than being told by someone else that it's the true & correct one, and/or peer pressure to fit in to a religious group.
