@@Alex-qy8urI have a 2004 Lexus RX330 and the pioneer system had soft dome tweeters and plastic cone woofers with decent sized voice coils. Same tone as the base sound system in a Camry but crisper highs, cleaner mids, and the bass is very good for lacking a sub. However, the Bose system in the Infiniti is amazing. Bose isn’t the best but, there are some Bose systems that are amazing.

Alternators produce amps, not watts. That 2200w would be peak. So, RMS would be like 1600w. And there'd be a capacitor so you're not constantly draining alternator charge. But, 1600w ÷ by 12v = 133A which is a pretty normal alternator amount. I'd be curious for how long the car would be able to handle that peak power consumption for before it taps out. But yeah, in a standard car, 130A alternators are unlikely, and more likely to be 50-80A. In lanecruisers and other commercial vehicles they'd go from 100-160A.

​@@dubbbs it's probably a marketing gimmick to make it seem more powerful. Like Amazon you'll find the amps rated for 2000 watts and it has a 30 amp fuse. In order to keep up with that audio system and all the other useless electrical shit in that German trashcan, it probably need 200amp alternator minimum and a pretty hefty battery Supply. The funny part is you can probably buy much better speakers and have them installed by a professional shop for much cheaper

​@@dubbbs I imagine it'd be rms. Max wattage is a gimmick. 21 speakers at 110w max would be laughable for a system like that. More than likely there's a couple of higher wattage subs, handful of mid woofers, few mids and tweeters. So, 2200w rms would make more sense imo. That is, unless they're just super efficient, which is also possible. Also have to remember, that's peak output, and the car would never in its lifetime see peak output from its amplifier. Also, nobody uses capacitors. They are another gimmick used to sell to kids getting subs, trying to fix their light dimming. A good alternator, good wiring, and a good battery solves the need for a cap. Quite literally. They haven't been an item people recommend for like 20+ years, and for good reason. Once you deplete it, you're then just running off the alt, while it also tries to fill the cap and keeps emptying it. The one exception being supercaps being used for battery banks in big systems. But those systems also have huge alternators to be able to charge the system. It'd just be a very large alternator. Google says it's 190a, which makes sense. And in regards to probably getting better speakers for less, probably, but also probably not. But you'd also be getting a single pair of 3ways, a sub or two, an amp or two and a headunit. 9k doesn't go as far as you'd think when looking at premium shit as a consumer. Their system would be very good. That is 9k on top of the original stereo cost, which is built into the cars cost. So, the realistic price would be well over 9k. Cause, 9k would never be able to afford the type of sound system they have. They're definitely far from shit, and a good equiv system with half as many speakers in said car would no doubt cost twice as much

yup same engine in the RS6, RS7, Urus, Cayanne Turbo, and alot of VW Group high performance V8s. ion blame them for using them throughout all the cars it’s a really good engine.

In most cases I'd agree. However, Naim for Bentley is comfortably the best in car audio I've ever heard. You wouldn't be able to achieve the same quality if you went aftermarket.

The speakers and flip screen are for sure worth it if you have the means. Technology where you want it (sound system) and no technology where you don't want it (in the middle of your hand stitched and built dash)
