Many people downplay the value of advice until their own emotions become unbearable. After a long-term divorce a few summers ago, I needed a big push to stay solvent with my firm. I located the most qualified advisor after searching for licenced advisors. Despite inflation, she has helped me grow my reserve from $275k to $850k.

Even with the right strategies and appropriate assets, investment returns can differ among investors. Recognizing the vital role of experience in investment success is crucial. Personally, I understood this significance and sought guidance from a market analyst, significantly growing my account to nearly a million. Strategically withdrawing profits just before the market correction, I'm now seizing buying opportunities once again.

When a correction happens it doesn't matter what companies you're invested in. Value stocks go down also. It's not just the high flyers. Nowadays the algorithms are either broad based buying or broad based selling. Once the selloff hits, it's broad based selling. Therefore it makes most sense to ride the high flyers and periodically take some off the table during the runs, and when selloffs happen be ready to bail out fast and cut losses when necessary. You can always buy back in after they bottom out.

We’re in a correction. This is it. Most stocks are Down except low debt tech. They’re not really affected by interest rates. Yes indexs are up but they’re all overweight tech. Read between that you’ll see the market isn’t doing that well. Tech is a bit over crowded as everyone piled into tech.

Many credible and exhaustive stock market studies have show that momentum begets momentum in every investment time horizon. So while the idea of buying a stock in an upward trajectory feels fundamentally counter intuitive as though a part or even most of an upward move was missed or that the stock is no longer is at a bargain price, in actual fact that is a buy signal more often than not. Buying stocks in pullbacks or at low points is a form of market timing, at least imo. Thus, it adds another layer of complexity to one's investment thesis and stock picking is already a risky proposition as evidenced by the fact that the vast majority of well funded and well resourced money managers can't even out perform the S&P index over time.

😂 He wasn't wrong. Many people who read charts and understand data are often too early. Too early is better than too late. A crash happens after a top is formed. A top is where Institutional Investors systematically dump sells to take profits. A sign of dumping was Apples $200 high on July 2023. Then it sold off. Apple finally broke even June 2024 (11 months later). So a crash takes months and months to occur. The Institutions let the stock recover to dump again. An again. Until the stock falls.

I'm on KZread often and I come across these channels more than ever. Everyone is a stock analyst now. I can write a long summary here, but I'll be succinct. Mostly I see charlatans and quacks. If anything, especially if new to investing and trading, all these channels that promote finance and investing will only confuse you more. These guys don't know anything no matter how smart they appear. If they were, why would they be wasting time or even have the time to pump out video after video. It's all about subs and likes and hits. They want your money. Whatever they say you can easily learn yourself by reading a few quality books etc. And by putting the work in yourself. Trust me, if you want to be successful in trading etc. watching KZread videos will not help but only confuse you more. NOT one PERSON knows what will happen in markets from one day to the next. Way too many variables. Do your homework, stay disciplined and only invest in what YOU truly believe in. Use your own brain not someone else's. I understand these guys have a right to make money. But they aren't taking mine.

I don't think DCA-ing into the S&P500 works for the long run anymore. The US has absolutely screwed itself with its debt. A quarter of government spending is with borrowed money and they pay almost a trillion a year on interest. I'm DCA-ing into fairly valued markets in South and Southeast Asia. Young population, low debt, higher relative economic growth, increasing internet penetration, low valuations.
