God, if my financial situation wasn't in bad shape I'd snatch that 300TD from you in a heartbeat. There are three things I love more than anything in the car world: Wagons, Diesel Cars, and Old German Cars. That wagon ticks all three, and I love Car Trek, giving it a secret fourth box! I've been pining after an 80's diesel wagon for years, and the 300TD is the DREAM. Shame I can't end the expedition with this one, but one day I'll be sitting in all the luxury the 80's can provide... for a reasonable price, that is.

The Mercedes is always the last car standing at the local smash-up derby. We have a wagon class lately as you can imagine no more big boats mostly focus wagons etc. That is a guaranteed winner.

I wish I hadn't had health issues and gotten behind on my favorite KZreadrs. I'd have seriously considered that Mercedes!

Sorry to hear Elliot.. maybe a cheap video to do would be how to be an automotive prepper? Ottawa Canada got hit with a Derecho and we still have some people without power a week later so maybe you can demo what you should (or shouldn't?) run and buy (or already have in your bug out bag) if you are on the road in the Mercedes and a storm warning only gives you an hour to run to the store before you get hit... Just an idea... hope you weather your storm and keep entertaining for years to come! Some combination of you guys storm chasing /camping would be hilarious too.

As someone who had to deal with a house fire in October of 2020, mid-pandemic, I know full well that life can throw bad stuff at you in gobs. I really wish you the absolute best of luck and support to you Elliott in what ever personal troubles you are dealing with, and hope for the best and most expedient of resolutions. It's such a shame how KZread can appear to an outsider as this conduit for endless profit simply for filming what you love, when it really is hard, expensive work to keep up. It's sad seeing these two cars leave the channel, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I would love to put in an offer for both, especially the Mercedes wagon, but my current situation doesn't allow for the expenditure or storage. Hope to see them go for a lot to fans of the channel!

I understand letting a car go. I have a 72 Olds Toronado with 27k on it, a 76 Lincoln Mark IV with 25k, a 77 Town Coupe, 79 Seville, and an 89 Town Car with 37k. I haven't driven any since 2014. I have someone who is helping me sell them at a classic car auction. They really need to be driven. It's time to let them go. I am only keeping my mom's 68 Impala that she ordered. Has 62k on it. I hope you personal issues are not the same as Jake’s, but I will tell you what I told him just in case. My wife and I hit a rough patch a few years back, but we both decided if we had to fall in love again we should at least try and fall for each other…. Again… it took time and a lot of work but 5 years later we are better then we have ever been… if it’s not related to this, just know that life has a way of happening for a reason… it may absolutely suck at the time, but with hindsight you can usually look back and see why it happened.. I wish you all the best, you seem like a really good Joe, and I also believe that good things happen to good people at least in the long run.

You should use a can of foaming engine Brite cleaner and hose down the engine on the Mercedes.
