I just can't get passed the grill. other than that, I like the styling.

I'm actually glad Toyota took their time with the exterior styling. The angles and porpotions are just right! Big grille and all it looks damn good compared to other heinous designs from other companies 😜

I have a 2015 Avalon. I will be giving that one to my daughter. I test drove a black 2019 Touring and plan on getting it.

Is the 2019's brake pedal more on the sensitive or numb side?

I purchased the red 2019 Touring and it’s a full sized sedan. It works for me and it’s a great car for the money. I didn’t want to buy a turbo and it’s the same platform, engine and suspension as the ES350. Also, the infotainment system in the Avalon is night and day more simple to use than the Lexus touchpad. The cabin is nearly silent. Oh, and the rear seats in the Avalon are heated and they’re not in the Lexus. The Lexus offers the panoramic roof. Along with the five USB ports, there is a wireless charger as well.

Love it. When I pay my 2018 camry off I want the Avalon in this trim.

They need to have the top trim level with an AWD.

SIDE NOTE: Funny how the same people from Toyota who calls the Avalon a "premium mid-size sedan" (even though it's a full-size sedan) also called the C-HR a "compact crossover" (even though it's a sub-compact crossover). They reallly need to stop confusing within segments..

Based off US EAP this is considered mid size ( tho at the high end). USEAP actually considers 2016+ Honda civics sedans as midsize ( on low end)

This car measures a bit smaller than the same year Accord, which is considered a midsized sedan.

I wonder why they discontinued the reclining seat 💺 on the Avalon; it was one of the things that made this car very particular!

That grille is definitely growing on me ...

I'm 5'11 too and I sat in the back of the Avalon. My head was touching the top. Which is why I guess I have to keep looking for something bigger. Which sucks because everything else about it was perfect.

But you'd be the driver so you'd never have to worry about the backseat's headroom. I'm 6'4" and I love my Avalon TRD.

well does the Accord come with standard V6 ? no it doesn't even have V6 as an option. so no the Avalon doesn't compete with the Accord.

Jeevraj Those are competitors to the Camry. The Avalon is a full-size sedan. So therefore, it slots above the Camry, and competes with the Nissan Maxima, Kia Cadenza, Chevrolet Impala, Dodge Charger, etc.

Avalon competes with the Taurus, impala, and Chrysler 300. Accord and fusion compete with the camry

I bought exactly same (2019 Avalon Touring silver color from Ron Tonkin Toyota) car at Nov 13th. I was a loyal Toyota customer. I bought 3 brand new Toyota 26 Camry 16 Avalon, 19 Avalon. but never again buy Toyota again. Here is the reason Honestly, I am very disappointed. MSRP of this car 44k but it must be maximum 25k because this car is the same quality as Hyundai Sonata. I had lots of problem with this car. my main issues are cheap plastic noise coming from all over the dashboard and door panels. I took this car to the dealership next day after purchase to fix this problem they kept the car at the dealership to fix it after 2 days they told me they open the dashboard and find noise and put more noise cancelation materials but on the way to home same loud noise was still there. I made a video of it and take it the next day again to the dealership they did a test drive and ask me again to the left car for 2 days again. After 2 days took the car and heard the same noise again but didn't go there again leaving with these terrible noise about 4 months right now. Another problem was trunk door doesn't close unless you hit it very hard I took another time for this problem but they screw me up again they didn't t fix it. another problem is entertainment is to slow you have to wait couple seconds to respond it and apple car play doesn't work properly it is disconnecting itself I bout 3 original cables from apple but still the same problem. over this car is a piece of garbage. anybody can give me an idea of what can do with this car? I don't want to lose too much money. it has a 6k mile on it.

What a gaping gash of a grille. Horrendous. I actually told Hertz that I didn't want one as a rental, and took a Taurus instead. Seriously.

It got smaller from previous. Dash is ugly with ipad tacked onto dash. No way this is bigger from my 2017. Wtf? Grill looks like a cheap bbq grill. Avalon a cheap Lexus? No buddy.....Camry is a cheap Lexus. Lmfao.
