    I literally went to a doctor to ask about using HCG to assist with weight loss while dieting. Doctor tells me she knows a anti depressant that has a side effect of weight loss. Was like nah I’ll just stay fat.

    @@christophernewman7243 see! I always knew it was an issue but until I got on testosterone and started doing my own research, talking to other people about their experiences and getting on KZread and watching videos like this it became crystal clear. Side effects are not the desired effects period end of story. They give it a cute name and call it off label use, but when you are experiencing side effects of a medication that generally means that your body is not reacting to it properly. Not all the time, but the majority of the time. Before I Started my testosterone protocol, I had a really terrible time getting to sleep. My old doctor prescribed a medication for depression because the side effect was that it would make me drowsy... I should have said no and asked for tests to figure out why I can't sleep... But instead I took it because I didn't know better. This goes on every single day across America yet there's not really anyone doing anything about it. It sucks. Side effects are not the desired effects ever.

    Exactly what they want. Had low T (level was 133) doctor said my test wasn't low for me because I had a full beard and that I was young (I'm 38 years old) Got me a nice online clinic making those sweet eft payments. Feeling great.

    @@MG-rm4pz Just make sure you're getting labs done to monitor what's happening. If your regular doctor didn't understand that you needed test, he probably doesn't understand what labs he needs to run to make sure you're not getting too much. If that's part of the online route, them disregard 😂 I'm just not familiar with that avenue of treatment.

    Tested twice in the 200s ng/dl and once at 430. Free T was only 11 -13 pg/ml. Got on TRT fully covered by insurance and within 8 weeks my panic attacks and anxiety were gone. Hormones matter my guy.

    I think his point is, other methods should be tried first. People typically try things like clomid first because its a temporary treatment that can possibly get your natural T production back in order. TRT injections are typically a life long treatment plan. For some people TRT makes sense, but there's alot of guys that have low T based solely on lifestyle choices or because they did a cycle and did not complete a proper pct.

    My experience on what this guy is saying: Went to an endocrinologist because very low testosterone (198) and FSH (1). He told me it’s bad, but Testosterone can cause heart attacks. That was the end of the talk. Went to a TRT clinic, got into a program, it costs money. BUT my life change forever in a great way. I’m 28. Conclusion: there are very bad endocrinologists, as well as TRT clinics that only want money. Thankfully I found a good TRT clinic, can’t say the same about the Endo.

    It bugs me so many people down trt. Like it’s taking the easy road or something . Some people including myself need it and it can make you feel ashamed you took the trt route over natural ways of increasing testosterone levels. Mine was in the low 100 before I started. No amount of staying away from sugar was going to raise it to the correct level

  • @Triptweeze
    @Triptweeze Жыл бұрын

    The issue is actually getting a doctor to check your T levels in the first place. Most doctors are woefully undereducated on the symptoms that come along with low T. That's simply due to it being a hormone. I personally asked my levels to be tested when I was younger because I was having almost every symptom of low T. Doctors said there was no way I could have low T because I was far too young and had way too much hair on my body/face/head. Did everything including supplementation and STILL nothing. Now I'm on TRT because I was having cardiovascular/neurological issues. Guess what they were linked to? If your doctor won't check your levels and tries to tell you you're depressed/anxious/bipolar... GO TO ANOTHER DOCTOR! You would be surprised how many men are misdiagnosed with bipolar/depression/anxiety disorders and simply have low T that could be fixed through diet and exercise OR TRT if there is a deeper issue. Always go to the doctor with information and not just simply looking for an answer.

Also it didn’t hell bunch of prohormone’s in the 90s so I’m sure dad had a factor of why am I testosterone was at 275 and 37 years old. But I’m much healthier and feel grate now I take a really small dose twice a week injectable my body is a hyper responsive to it which is great so you guys would laugh at my dose but it puts me at 750-950 range.

    Your levels were low enough to warrant and justify therapy. You can’t do enough physically, with getting in shape to raise it to a comfortable level of health. It just doesn’t work. It raises it but not enough. However, if you feel that strongly about going on testosterone, why don’t you come off and try to regain your natural supply. What’s stopping you?

    That people are debating this is wild to me. If you have low testosterone, there is potentially a treatable underlying medical cause. Being put on TRT doesn't even attempt to treat the cause, it only treats the symptom. It's like if you woke up with a headache every day and your doctor just gave you an indefinite prescription for painkillers. Sure, the pain is gone, but there could be any number of things going wrong with you that you're not even aware of yet. If you have low testosterone, and your doctor checks everything out and can't find any other issues, and _then_ you go on TRT, that's fine. That makes sense. But having it be the first thing you try is absolutely retarded. This guy is 100% right.
