This is very informative. I didn’t realize that the boards in Europe are looking for diversity more than the US. They appear to appreciate a woman’s view more so than US. The quotas are good, but I think time limits will help as well.

Wow, sad only 1,372 people have watched this gerat video. Thanks to all Senior Leaders who imparted this knowledge. Even the Presidents have a term limit of 8 years.

All I hear is a lot of networking networking which is another way of saying - the people I know or who know me help with the door opening or greasing the squeaky wheels. As for the outright sexism of whatever men do (and I’m not the white male FYi), women work work work? The statistics says otherwise, and why is that the determining factor of your success on a board assignment. Quality over quantity.

Quotas? What ever happened to the best qualified? Diversity is another word for giving women jobs where they simply cannot compete.

That's why we have so many universities that promote emotions over education and logic.

40% woman quota is still less than half. The fact that this policy created 7,000 vacancies and scrambling companies demonstrates how widespread discrimination against women is. Obvioisly qualifications matter, but, women are qualified too.

But then the issue is that when they are qualified (which happens more than you think), and evennif everybody know that they may be the best person to sit their knowledgeable and over qualified rear end on the board, they still do not get the job, due to having the wrong reproductive organs. Thats a fantastic opportunity for the competitors.
