honestly if he skiped mole, vorkath, raids, demonic gorillas and barrows and stayed at revs he would have - at least - the same amount of money. The whole video could be resumed to rush 100k and gear probably using berries or toad legs and then go to revs until 100M would be even easier.

Honestly thank you for getting gp without pking. It's a nice change of pace.

Loved the video. I was expecting it to be the same formula: Make enough money, then PK for the rest, but this was a nice change of pace.

@@takotruk7265 the fireball vorkath shoots out into the air (the first one that came out) does damage in a 3x3 area. He walked out of it's damage area but right back into it before it landed so he took a 90.

Framed does "I only have a bronze dagger" challenges for fun. Torvesta does "I only have a rune scimitar" challenges because thats literally all he has left

Thank you framed, I clicked on this video reluctantly, because most of these "I started with nothing, 1gp, a rake" videos usually are: Flipping for 2 days until cash and PvP for hours until the cash is there. And Those videos can be fun, but there are so many of them now, that I immediately paused and switched you to full screen when you said no PvP.

I would love to see this same type of video but without things like revs or gauntlet. It seems everybody making these videos just resort to those 2 places, I would love to see more unique spots like godwars dungeon or other less killed bosses and activities!

I love the start where you’re like “this challenge is completely without PVP”, while you’re walking with a skull above your head

I used to do rebuilds like this for fun and the fastest way to get from 0gp/nothing to 10-20k for some upgrades is killing men in Edgeville, the herb drops are unreal and you can buy budget barrows gear for 15k (Black Salamander is WAY better at barrows than chaos runes and it's cheaper too) and you can get some cheap prayer gear and prayer pots to supplement your run Your max hit would be a 24 and and it only costs 350 gp for the salamander + 2gp per attack

The thread and jewels have a mechanic called bad luck mitigation until you've received one of each. The wiki gives the example that the thread has a drop rate of 1/3.33 at 15 completions, so they ends up being more common after more completions but still insane luck 😄

@@tomdotcom7844 They do. If you're curious of exactly how it works and what is covered, check out the Chest (Tombs of Amascut) wiki page right below the Tertiary rewards. The wiki states it scales linearly until it is three times as common when the player's total raid completion count reaches 1.5 times the base rate denominator. I believe this would mean you need at least 270kc for the bad luck mitigation mechanic to begin for the jewels for it to be three times as common (180 is base denominator for drop rate, 180 x 1.5 is 270)

When did you do that? Because at the rate bowstrings are going for right now, or even the last two years, that’s over a million flax picked 28 at a time, spun, banked, and repeat, around 40k times. Even if you could do a trip in 5 minutes, that would be at minimum over 3000 hours.

Pro tip To all Demonic gorilla hunters: Try using Osmumten’s Fang as your Melee switch instead of Arclight, it’s amazing.

It may have been said or you may just prefer it but ctrl+left click does opposite of your current run option i.e run on and ctrl+click causes you to walk
