First letter of BMW motorcycles represents the engine type, G for 1 cylinder, R for twin boxer, F for inline 2, S for inline 4, K for inline 6, wish that helps!

@@medogabr9952M is for their motorsport division. It's like how BMW sports cars have an M in front of their name (like the M3 or M5 for example) because they were designed by the motorsport division of BMW.
Definitely do this kind of video for other manufacturers.

Other than Triumph and/or Ducati no other manufacturers warrant such insight… LOL 😆

BMW is the Alpha and the Omega
This is a very helpful format for me. Just getting started working at a dealership and this helps give a basic layout of what we got. Definitely need to do TRIUMPH next please 🙏
After years of racing and riding sport bikes on the street, culminating with an S1000RR, I bought an age-appropriate R1250RS. The S1KRR was frustrating to ride on the street and even on some race tracks. At Sonoma, running stock gearing, it never got out of 3rd. The R1250RS is pure pleasure but without the huge weight, weak brakes and cumbersome handling of most other touring bikes. The massive engine braking took some getting used to, but the many dementia aids (e.g. self cancelling winkers) are a blessing.
What I love about these moto vids you two do together is you both have your preferred bike styles and it makes these convos more fun IMO versus two cruiser guys or two dirt guys etc. Seeing Alex light up when you guys moved onto the sport models and Case with his head on his hand looking bored 😂

I agree, amongst all models and stats, there is some really lighthearted banter. Very enjoyable. I hope they both relax and let more of their personalities out as part of the show, really good entertainment.
Great job. Easy to follow and useful to see the new bikes. If I saw more Of these I’d be happy. Good photos and well put together.
Had a number of BMW motorcycles, the old flying brick, GS1200, K1300. Currently ride an S1000RR. Sweet bike, very streetable and docile below 5000rpm but fierce on trackdays. Keeping the front wheel down out of turn 10 at Summit Main and using the linked brakes to come down from 170 for turn 1 makes you appreciate the performance (and electronic aids) of that bike.
I like this format. Very concise and straight to the point. Keep it up!
Feedback from a 60-year motorcycle enthusiast. Thumbs up and subscribe! You two young men are intelligent, interesting, and enjoyable to watch. You will accomplish great things in life. Small note - I would have appreciated a mention of the ShiftCam and adaptive cruise / blind spot detection availability on the high-end bikes. Please do Ducati as time permits.

If you need blind spot detection on a motorcycle you don’t belong on one.

Interesting video idea. First time I see a vid like this. And as someone who knows nothing about the lineup this was perfect
Great job gents. Y'all did a nice video!
Really interesting video. I can't say I learned a lot because I'm a BMW fan myself so I'm up to date on them. Some of the more boutique brands I'm sure I would learn quite a bit. Definitely do more.
Great video! Not sure how much extra work it would be, but could you add chapters for each bike? It would make it easier to rewatch and skip around. Thanks guys.
Those prices are basic....a regular gs 1250 starts at 17k...you end up paying way more...lets not forget cost of maintenance etc....ill stick w the big four
This is a GREAT video idea. The various models and how they differ and overlap is so confusing! Sport, Street sport/Naked, Street retro, Street adventure, Adventure, Adventure sports. Man! I am so confused. then trying to do a comparison across brands is crazy. Thank you for doing this video, I hope you can do this each year for all the main brands. Keep up the great work! SUBSCRIBED!
Refreshingly brilliant, subscribed.
My two best bikes without doubt is the K1600GTL and the S1000XR M-spec with the endurance chain. 10000km now without lubing the chain or the need for adjusting the tention on the chain.
How’d I know you’re from Philly hahaha solid video would love to see one of these for KTM and Kawi
The GS Adventure range in the real world is about 270-300 miles. I think it’s perfect. I’m about ready for a break when I need to fill up and when I’m doing unpaved roads or off-road it’s pretty much an all-day tank that I don’t need to worry about gas.

VS the 200km/tank I get with my softail. 😂
Great content!
I own a 2019 Ducati 1260 Enduro, and it’s only done 1000 miles, I’ve been ill for a couple of years and I only worked out was wrong 5 weeks ago. I’ve had my holiday cancelled twice thanks to covid, but I’m hoping this September is a go, from the northeast of England down to Spain
Great show guys. I like to see one for 2023 KTM lineup.
That green and tan scrambler at 7:34 is amazing!! *manhattan metallic
Could you call out the drive train, shaft, belt or chain and wet weight and net carry weight. Thanks
Thanks for this video. I would love to see a similar one for Honda.
Excellent job guys
No new HP2 Enduro? Love the slight changes to the R9T. Doesn’t look out of proportion, like in the previous years. I though the 1250 GS was being updated too. To a new 1300 water cooled version. Not in 2023, hey?
Great Job!! That black S1000r OMG
awesome BMW bikes lined up
I brought a friend to the BMW dealership in Rye NH who has always ridden Harley Davisons. When he saw the BMW bikes in the showroom he said “so that’s what they look like from the front”!
Crazy, it's much cheaper in the states than in Germany. The R Nine T Pure in Germany: 15615 € : (
Please do this for Harley. I need to decide if I buy an MY22 now or wait a little for an MY23. Thanks.
yes would absolutely love this. especially for the bigger companies like honda
Great vid! - - - - BUT..... I love that you guys spent the money on the cheap amazon fake sound-dampening foam and all I hear are reflections off that wall next to you, the ceiling and your desks :p
Nice video. Had never heard of a lot of these bikes. Please start doing this with all the brand's
Excellent video. This is needed for all makes. When will bmw release the 2023 bikes for sale? The 750 gs has me at $9990 .
I started on the G310R it's a great little bike, my next bike will probably be the F900R but I'm disappointed the R1250R is being discontinued ?
Is this prices from two years ago? Because the GS 1250 gs adventure is like 26000 k right now.
So many bikes for so many reasons it's hard to pick the next one.. I want a roadster, heritage, adventure!!
so, the F750 and the F850 has the same displacement....which is 853cc
Like the video. Think you should break them up into categories.
750 and 850 weights would be helpful. Good report
Do you think BMW will update their G310GS version soon? Bcz there is just colour changes so far.
Yep, good video guys. 👍
Is there a reason they don’t do a 125cc bike which is A1 license / CBT compatible? Here in the UK the 125 (cbt) is what you start with and they just don’t cater for it. Its really just Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki who do, plus all the scooters.
So disappointing that the scooter gets a 350 and the entry level GS still stuck with the 310. Would like to see the 750 also have an adventure package like the 850
Most BMW’s come with options, so add at least $5000 to those prices if you want a realistic cost!

You forgot the $4000 blue whale foreskin riding suit.
I think that the R nineT range looks less impressive without the Racer, however, I doubt they’ll bring it back. I’m very happy with mine 🇬🇧🏍
+1 on the other manufacturers, especially Triumph!
Is the Honda NT 1100 ever coming to America
Btw, the M1000rr 50 years is longgggg sold out They’re only making 150 and 50 of those for the states 350 people in my district tried to order one the moment it was announced
Nice video, please start doing this with for other manufacturers. Alex from Philly🍊
you all should pick up a rokon for testing and reviewingon the ranch
What about the new GS 1300??
The M1000R and M1000RR are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 come back and preview them
When do we get to watch Alex Race ???
Not this year for the R1300GS and R1400GSA? Large TFT on GS/GSA?

Tax credits on the CE04?
Have a beautiful day Everyone
Everywhere I turn it's another TFL channel. How many are there my god.
??? You haven't say anything about the 2023 S1000RR engine which is gonna be pretty close to the "M" with titanium valves and new wings fairing upgrades on the S1000RR ( wings going to be different for the "M") besides NOBODY KNOWS yet about All the upgrades or colors till mid September!!
what about the 310 r sportbike
But it shaves the camshaft like butter...
Like the format. Triumph next.
I LOVE my 2023 G310GS!
Time stamps. Love these videos, but please time stamp for those who are looking for a specific category.
I had an 2003 R1150R and it was an ok bike - heated grips cracked, vibrated a lot, starter had a design flaw (had rebuilt it with a new redesigned starter pinion gear) that chewed up the flywheel and the entire back of the bike needed to be disassembled to replace the flywheel. While in there, saw that the clutch slave cylinder was leaking. I don't know that I'd pay the premium for another BMW - same goes for my E39 that nickel-and-dimed me to death. German over-engineering does not necessarily equal quality and longevity. That R9T is a nice looking bike though.
No K1600 GTL and B????
After owning both the K1600GTL and the R1250GSA, I can truly say, the R1250GSA is a much better, motor comfortable long distance touring bike, even if you don’t plan to ever take it off road. You will however suffer in the MPG dept, at 45 MPG, being very frugal.
The C400GT has a unreliable Chinese engine and Indian brakes. They replaced the Bybre brakes with JJuan brakes on the 2022.
No R1300GS ?
You skipped the biggest selling boxer the R1250R !
You have to pay for the heated seats!$20 a month.
I will take the old flying brick. Thx.
Looks like you guys need one more motorcycle guy for the dual sport/ adv segment. Lol. Otherwise I liked this format.
224t😊
$15k electric scooter gets only 90 miles on a charge? My $6500 e-assisted recumbent trike gets that far on a single charge. Nice to know I saved a bundle going with my trike.
still waiting for the 1300gs
U forgot about BMW G310RR
Keep it simple fellas
feels like you never sat on a bike
Yo cuz 😎
Great lineup. But actually don’t care which bikes you on the right are not buying. It’s okay to compliment a bike without saying that it isn’t for you.
1:44 first look I thought it was SFO, but at a second look it’s clearly Lisbon. Nice forced perspective right there
Why can’t BMW just make 600cc Sport cmon man 😭
I think the one in the white shirt is just scared to go fast…
US market is being flooded with machines plus BMW has a very limited Dealership Network in the USA to handle all of this product. Still very impressed that BMW is now trying to post up against Honda. Won't be easy tho..
Nice god bless
Whatever "BROU"!!! 😂
I wish Yamaha had a tenere 1000. Little lighter and 50 mpg. The bmw is not reliable enough.
Bikes only have one fork on them.

2023 isn’t bringing anything new but colors and embellishments.
nuts? 400 lb bike with 310cc is lght and a 900 cc bike 450 lbs is heavy..nuts.. 400 lbs for a lawnmower bike fricking heavy
Watch this video. See which bike they talk least about. That's the best bike. Bmw tells the journos not to talk about it because it sells itself to experienced riders.
BMW = BEST MOTORCYCLES WORLDWIDE !! S 1000 R 2023 or M 1000 R 2023 ....WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW 🤩😍🥰😘
These guy I bet never had a motorcycle
Honda has SURRENDERED. They have not had a truly popular motorcycle in 20 years. Soichiro must be spinning in his grave... Honda makes money on CARS, now, and the Motorcycle Division be damned. Give us a (1983-style) CB1100F
Kase 😍
