Yes sir, I found out through my paternal dna that I come from Ewe, my parents and grandparents all came from Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana....
Trinidad Haiti Jamaica many are Ewe background
Interesting! As an Ashanti in the State I loved listening to programs like this. You need to bring folks like this man to help explain the different ethnic groups in Ghana. This will help you tapped the untapped market for your program.
Good thing this guy knows his stuff, Paul's questions was all over the place 😀
Yes very true I was in Haiti with the black star line ship and everything, including food are ewes.
Waoo I love this story, I hope it should continue.
Brilliant exposition Kwaku. I recall learning most of the things you are saying when I was in JSS. Kudus!
This history lesson have to be anthropological researched and narrated properly the elements of truth is vivid... kudos to the program
I read a comment which said Paul, the host, was all over the place with his questions, but I think he rather did a great job trying to bring much clarity to the discussion. I found the guy who was being interviewed to be misplacing some of the puzzle pieces. Saying things like Ewe means "people of the valley" sounds like an unproven insertion into an already complex tapestry of competing oral accounts. The guest has the pieces, I am not putting him down, but I am just advising him to revisit where he's placed some pieces. The general outline chimes along well with what we have been hearing and have come to embrace as highly credibility. A couple of stated specifics are however radically questionable. Hats off to both Host and guest. Let's stick to thr "facts" and resist the appeal to embellish.
The historian knows quite a lot of the migratory history of the Ewe people. However, a few other parts need more clarity. You may want to invite an Ewe person to tell the story. That person will also be able to mention the names properly.
Very educative...till we know ourselves well and backgrounds: this stupid ethnocentric populism and overrated emotional tension will stop and we will appreciate each other better.
Explicitly explained. Please can we have the continuation of the video? Pleeeeaaaaasssssse?
When u invite PPl, Mr Host, allow them to flow. Your intrusions were too much.
Production managers. One of the audio is better than all. Find that one.
you are correct, ketu is in lagos, and when we use to travel to nigeria, in the 80s from volta region to sems, badagry, we needed for passport as long as you could speak ewe you can claim to be a national just to visit family across the border
Mis narration of Tado and Gbadagli Tado means the head have arrived. That is when they migrate from Ketume present day Kaltum. And the word Gbede feagbeme corrupted to Gbedegle.
Is this about migration or linguistics?
Good interview but the questioning skills was very disruptive!!!
Catholics copy from Africans not other way around
The aboriginals are the kables and kotokolis before the ewes settled there. President Nyansingbe Eyadema wasn't an Ewe, he was a kable.
Anglike kudjo grandfather was an returning African via Brazil
This was really, really insightful. I will really like to know more
It's very obvious that empty headed beings will dislike this educative program. Black will continue to wallow in the mindst of plenty.
The historian is right about candomble as a religion influenced by vodooism
A sharp brain
Saying the ewes are from Nigeria is bad. The ewes came from Egypt, to Sudan , Ethiopia, back to to Sudan then Nigeria , then Togo ,then Ghana So it's bad saying they are from Nigeria
He doesn't know the history of the Ewes and Gas. Don't mind this man
This is not important at this time! Let’s talk about how 100 cedis worth of fuel doesn’t fill half my tank, why salaries are not being increased but taxes are... this government just came in to enrich themselves and unleash hardship on ordinary citizens

Why is not important? Do you still want to believe the lies the Europeans created. Know your history and you will be a good person.

Bro u are just proving how shallow minded u are. Too bad for u, bcoz it will be like a disease in ur system.
Ewe come far from Cana , Where you call Israel today then they moved to their brothers in Keme [Egypt] Sudan , Tado and Ethiopia, Nubia , Namibia and Cameron then Nigeria then Benin ,Togo and Ghana , now let point out something, Musavi , Nyatanyawo ,[Natanyahu] Yakobe,[Jacob] Nuwor , [Noah] [Muse] someone who has broken the law today called Moses ....etc this are reminates of the Nubia...
This history is incomplete do more research.
