    Thanks Cory that was simple enough. I generally use a plec because my finger tips get dry with the weather here . Works for me.

    That is my favorite song of all time! Thank you so much. Loved just hearing you play and sing it! I'll need to build up to that. I love the lick, but its gonna take a while. :-)

    Thank you for this I enjoyed learning the cool riff in this song! But allthough I did learn it you have to play it so fast in the song so just strummed the chords in the song and fingerpicked xD

    is it possible that the end of the lick starting around 7:57 in the video is not identical to the visual tab you are showing?

  • @CoryTeachesMusic

    I thought I said everything correctly but may have misspoke because of all of the numbers 🤪. The TAB is correct though and how I play it is correct in the play through. Apologies for any confusion!

    @@CoryTeachesMusic 7:57 Your lick is completely off in the tablature, it makes it not a playable part of the written music.

    Thank you! Great instruction. In the video you say one can just not play the riffs or licks, but then it isn’t demonstrated how that works. I’ve tried without the licks and nothing works…… Do you have any suggestions?!!!

  • @CoryTeachesMusic

    @CoryTeachesMusic

    Yes. You just skip the lick and go into the next chord after when the lick would end! So you’ll play the G to the D7 rather than the lick.

    Yeah, it’s always best to break it up as needed for yourself. You can also omit the lick if that is too much for you.

    Nice tutorial. The only thing is, you call George Harrison's iconic 'riff' a 'lick' which is incorrect. A 'lick' is what a guitarist would do on a lead solo and it is able to be changed( improvised) A riff can't be changed or it will alter the song. Examples of riffs: Pretty Woman, Day Tripper, Smoke on the Water. A lick would be a lead or a solo that can be changed and would not really change the song. Did I confuse you? Sorry if I did. I love your tutorials☺
