Andy knew what a good song was. That's why he recorded this.

R.I.P. Andy Williams 1927-2012, We all miss you!
I do miss you Andy and my beloved hubby, Richard, nearly 2 years now. Seems like yesterday xxxxx
Just found this version and the great man simply does it brilliantly. That fantastic voice with the wonderful tone, everlasting.
never knock andy..a man for all seasons..my mum saw him twice..top guy
This is hardly the elegant pop standard fare for which Andy is best known, but one of those fun, "sunshine pop" hits of the early '70s that Andy could nail with equal brilliance. The album from which this track is taken, "You've Got a Friend" ("A Song for You" U.K.) , also features Andy's knock-out rendition of "Never Can Say Goodbye."
Saw an interview with Andy where he said that he liked to stay hip with the current musical trends of each decade and really enjoyed singing the 60's and 70's pop hits. There are two great import cd's of those songs at Amazon.com called "in the lounge with...Andy williams" and (I Think) I Love The 70's.
ohhhh yes
🐕🦺 Music!
Well, this isn't the version off the Allbirds shoe advert or, The Fortunes original version either...
If my memory serves me correctly? I believe Andy also recorded another Cook & Greenaway song "You Chose A Fine Time"? Love to hear?
the record button is up too high.
