Sean Rickman's playing is insane. His work with Steve Coleman is nothing short of jaw-dropping!
Wayne Shorter played with Jaco. R.I.P . He was a fantastic saxophonist. Well dressed talented and cool.
Herbie and Wayne I mean these cats are legends of Jazz they were part of Miles Davis band back in the days with Ron Carter on bass and Tony Williams on drums, men to see them hanging with Marcus Miller is just something when music was music way back when.🌹💔
You know you've made it to the top when you can just sampling stuff in the middle of your song, and then make something up, and it still sounds good.
Miles is smiling.....As you are smiling. Life is so good....Music is so good
All these guys are legendary and for the 127 that thumbs down, Suck... you do what you do because of these legends. It's not about playing fast and loud and playin all over top of each other. It's about complimenting one another. At any given day these guys can put on a loud fast show that would gaurantee leave you gittering...Respect the trailblazers!!! That is all!!
Can we just appreciate the fact Herbie just soloed with a bloody human voices keyboard? ABSOLUTE MADLAD

Appreciate Mr. Hancock while he still remains alive along with Mr. Shorter because they are keeping Miles' Legacy alive and bringing the younger generation of musicians to the forefront as well.

@@paulmitchell5349 Herbie is a skilled pianist featured on numerous albums, but I would say Wayne Shorter has an even heavier legacy. Many of his beloved compositions are jazz standards today.
I love Sean Rickman's playing . So sick!
Oh man, I'm surprised, and not surprised at the same time, of seeing Sean Rickman (drummer) playing with these giants. He's played with Steve Coleman, which alone is impressive. He's one of the best drummers I've seen that's still alive to say the least, mf has a YT channel and everything and I feel like not enough people know him!
I wish I had seen this performance before. These gentlemen are doing their thing. I love how chill they are while performing.

herbie is a creative genius, and hears music from anywhere, they all laughing at the voice sounds, like its a joke novelty, but he is deadly serious. Music comes from human voice first of all.
Sat n miles leather seat at his brothers house for Thanksgiving. I felt his spirit. I play trumpet too. Wow
THIS is CHILL!!! , Miles would have loved to be there .......He is in spirit RIP MILES DAVIS

Yeah.........Miles. Will there ever be another like hum? A monsterous talent /genius. Some of the great music of the 20th century if you ask me. Amazing how underappreciated he is----the stuff from the 70's is in a category all it's own.

thanks for HD!!
Thanks Wayne for your music
Very good job my brothers!
Miles Davis wrote Jean Pierre for Marcus. What I didn't know about is the theme. The woman I live with keeps saying to my cats, "go do do". Pronounced dough, dough. I knew she was telling me or the cats to go to sleep, but how, and where did she come up with that?!! Now, I find out that Miles based this theme off the French lullaby, "Dodo, l’enfant do”. She NEVER said over the years where she got this do, do thing or why? So, I have to thank Miles Davis for actually giving me the deal. Not that she ever did, or even knew why she did this to begin with!
Sean Rickman! Go bro!
dope herbie solo
MERCI !!! ! ❣️ pour ce partage 😊 🙏

Meet a thrilling trio on the stage of the Jazz à Vienne festival (2011) : bass king Marcus Miller, saxophone titan Wayne Shorter, and pianist virtuoso Herbie Hancock gather in honor of their fellow jazz legend Miles Davis. Sean Jones and Sean Rickman (a regular of Steve Coleman's ensembles), complete the picture in a program that features the greatest works of the jazz master. Marcus Miller was a regular of Miles Davis's band all along the eighties, his composing, playing, and producing work on Davis's Tutu album has solidified his space in the pantheon of jazz, while Shorter and Hancock both partnered the illustrious trumpeter during the sixties and seventies, featuring in his first "electric" albums...
