Sometimes we Americans aren’t aware of how popular some of the British artists are. Alison’s worldwide album sales have reached a certified 23 million, with over two million singles sold. All nine of her studio albums and three compilation albums have charted in the top 30 of the UK Albums Chart, with two of them reaching number one. She has also achieved nine top 30 singles and six top 10 hits on the UK Singles Chart. Her most recent album, her ninth, Other, was released 16 June 2017. She’s an icon.

It's one of the best 80's album's up their with Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell", Men at Work's "Business As Usual", Roxy Music "Avalon", Spandau Ballet "True" and Split Enz "Waiata" (Split Enz became Crowded House). If you really want to immerse yourself in 80's music those are the albums to listen to.

Sadly a totaly underated songstress and story teller who doesnt get the recognition she deserves. Her back catalogue is awesome and her live version of 'nobodys diary' is phenominal

Thank God you finally found Alison Moyet 😉! Absolutely one of the best voices to come out of the 80s. Try a few more from her Alf album (which Invisible is also from). You'll probably get lots of recommendations for Love Resurrection and All Cried Out which are excellent but one of my other absolute favourites from the album is 'Steal Me Blind.' There isn't really a bad track on Alf.
