This is one of the few tiny houses that has a loft bedroom that allows you to stand up. Being very claustrophobic, I think I could very comfortably stay at a place like that. The retracting stairs are brilliant. And the very open decorating that’s been done gives a sense of space, but also a sense of comfort. I really admire her style and attitude.

Can't you just unscrew the refrigerator doors to place them on opposite side ? Most refrigerators do 🤷‍♀️ btw lovely tiny home 🙂

Most modern refrigerators are designed with reversible doors. Just look up the make, model, maybe serial number online. You should be able to find out if your particular fridge has reversible doors. And it's really easy to accomplish. Good luck!

I have been watching Tiny House videos for the past three years and I have only found 3 that I would actually buy. This is one of them. I love the design, I love the open airy feel and color schemes, love the stairs - really well thought out design vs. function. I don't' care for any tiny house where you cannot stand up in a loft. However, that being said, the price is way too high for a tiny house without land.

Nice for her and I'm glad she is happy with it, but I bought, brand new in 2018, a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath 1400 sq ft manufactured home for $104K. It has a huge great room with large kitchen island etc. , large master bedroom with en suite bathroom, and a laundry room, in a resort park with all amenities. Just comparing prices for what you get.

I like the retractible stairs but not the wooden ladder which forces you to always use your rigth foot to start the climb. I had one of these once and absolutely hated it. Not into sleeping spaces in which I can't stand but was pleasantly surprised to see how you could stand fully upright in the one bedroom even though the bed was elevated. Great how you extended the space outwards and onto that covered deck, outdoor shower, always a nice touch.

I like this tiny house design but I'm really starting to hate how people are building these for "airbnbs" though. The whole point of tiny houses were for people who wanted to live in a unique cozy/minimalist life style.. not for people to popularize them for the sake of being a would-be landlord for $$$$. The anomaly and fascination for tiny house living is looking to have a sad future.

So, why is someone renting out a tiny house a problem? If one says, "that is not the way I think you should use a tiny house, that is not what I think you should like, I have decided who should and should not have tiny homes and the purpose for which they should be built and used, one is being just a tad dictatorial. Many people would say one of the reasons for a tiny home is that the owner can do much, if not all, of the work. They are also for those who can't afford a home in the suburbs, but want a place to call their own. Also for those who travel for work, such as traveling nurses who work for charities and relocate quite often. Or the set designers who work throughout the U.S. There are those who want to travel the country, working remotely, and see the U.S.A., while still being able to work. There are those who are handicapped and a tiny house helps with daily life. So, right there, I have given you five reasons other than yours, which are perfectly reasonable and true. Unless, of course, you have a problem with people doing what they have a perfect right to do.

No offense but I am so tired of these lovely tiny homes going the route of Air bnb used as a money maker when so many need housing or want to escape mortgage slavery. Also, so many so big not really tiny and becoming unattainable. It's becoming far removed from the original tiny house movement, attainable housing and or using recycled materials. Lovely place, but not a home for someone who needs it unfortunately. I just wanted to give a reminder of why many of us love tiny homes.

Not a big fan of dishwashers either, but l have found a lot of overseas people don’t seem to like handwashing their dishes either. As this is run as an Air BnB it makes sense to have a small dishwasher insulated. We also live in a tourist region here in New Zealand and the biggest number of tourists are from overseas. They like their little luxuries. Love this Tiny.

The dishwasher gives the place a feeling of luxury. I like it even if I didn't use it. It seems like a lot of people who don't like dishwashers tried one once and didn't scrape off or rinse their dishes first before running it. 😂 Dishwashers are also a good place to keep dirty dishes out of sight until you’re ready to hand wash them.
