In this video meet Arthur
In this episode, Arthur shares his experience and challenges with his sight loss. Arthur talks about the initial impact his sight condition had on him, and his family, as he struggled to get support. Arthur talks about the “great sense of loss” he suffered, when he lost his sight, and talks about how he overcame that. Arthur set himself many goals and work hard on them including learning to use a computer and technology to help with his independence and even continued to play golf, putting his first ever hole in one after losing his sight!
InSights are intimate personal stories of sight loss from individuals sharing their greatest challenges, their greatest fears, their darkest times and how they overcame them and moved forward in their lives.
We hope these stories will resonate and encourage others to move forward on their own sight loss journey, as well as help sighted people to understand more about what visually impaired people experience.
