For Emma to hold her own amongst vocal masters like Floor and Henk is truly incredible. Her voice is so beautiful, so colourful… full of light and shade. This duet is one of the best I’ve heard… ever. Henk really almost nurtured Emma through this. They complimented each other so well. Honestly, if people remove the bias of knowing that Emma mostly does covers on KZread they’ll admit she’s amazing.

Ah finally. Love that song but its so underrated because of all the Floor stuff on the show.

It's a song originally from a band called O.R.O., but made the charts when it was released by Andrea Bocelli, definitely one of the best classical musicians of the modern age. Emma and Henk certainly did a great rendition of it.

I just watched the original from Henk en Emma more than 30 times you are right the combination is so good

If I remember correctly in the duets show Henk is the one who picked Emma for this song. It is an original song by Andrea Bocelli from 1995.

Hi I really liked this duet. Henk was Henk but Emma was amazing. Loved the expressions on the others faces

Henk is the classic Gentleman. If you watch him throughout the Show, he will always dress and behave in manner that puts the Song or his Duett Partner in the Spotlight. There are no losses with Henk or Floor from this Show. Noellia (by Henk, for Rolf) is probably one the biggest tear jerkers of the season, next to Strong (performed by Emma for Floor). Both Songs are well performed but in combination with the Story makes them "Onion cutting songs". :D

Not only a gentleman, but he knows how to bring out the best in his partner and he definitely knows it takes two for a duet.

This version was really one of the best. I think maybe even better then the original. Last evening was by the way the duets from this last season. Most were in Dutch allthough last evening were most in English. With other singers then last year ofcourse

They react like that becouse it's not a competition, it's all in good fun. The winner on the end of the night doesn't mean a thing. Just give a great show a few meters in front of their noses Xp

It is Henk Poort pushing her limits and making her flourish! He had to hold back, but professional as he is, you do not notice and they leveled up perfectly.

Great version indeed. I recommend you review a cover of Lara Fabian: Carole Samaha - Je T'aime (Live at Olympia 2018). Carole is a talented Lebanese singer. She has another killer cover of Wrecking Ball of Miley Cyrus !!

I’ll be honest I wouldn’t have heard that song either if it wasn’t for it being the theme song from a mexican telenovela (soap opera) sang by Bocelli himself in spanish so don’t feel bad for not knowing the song beforehand lol

In the end Thea mag choos with Thea want to sang together.

I had never heard of it either before seeing it in Beste Zangers last year. I knew of Andrea Bocelli of course and I really respect him, but it's just not a style of music that appeals to me normally and I hardly ever listen to the radio for that same reason. I agree though it's a great song and a well deserved hit for Andrea, performed magnificently by Henk and Emma here.

@@lucacamus7056, I did some research. The song vivo per,.. was written and sang by ORO, shortly after that Gatto Panceri re-wrote the song for Bocelli and Giorgia. The song was no longer about a woman, nut about music. They Made it a world hit. And the song was translated in many languages. I’m from the Netherlands. 😉

Beste Sengers 😜.you’re still pronouncing it wrong 😄. Sprich es aus wie auf Deutsch: Sangers (nicht Sänger natürlich). Heesters muss doch auch bekent sein: Johannes Heesters. Good reaction.

But, look in Floors Faice..i not shure, what she think.🤗

Oh I think it's very clear what she thinks. She's made no secret of it that she idolizes Henk, but throughout the season she has also become to appreciate and respect Emma. This was the culmination of that. One of the best performances of Beste Zangers 2019 if you'd ask me.
