Viewers who say “don’t worry about it” don’t understand how much time and effort go into making original content. I have had to submit MANY copyright claims against pigeons channels stealing clips of my videos or reposting my videos in their entirety. It is shameful that people steal content and effort should be made to stop it. I will definitely keep my eyes open for you Frank.

I'll keep an eye out Frank if I see something. I don't use other people's content either. Not sure if you use it but when you upload videos there's an option that you have to choose that does not let others use or remix your content. If you don't change that, everyone is able to use it. If you are blocking that ability and people are still using it via AI then yes it may need people to discredit their posts pointing out your original content. Keep those videos coming Frank and thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences.

I have noticed a channel where the AI bot just narrates content. They just show pictures of pigeons and seem like it is just being read from a script. I will tag it here if I come across it again. We can aslo do pur part and reportm that will help Frank alot. BTA Frank, you content is getting very popular in fqnciers who do not have homers. Like tipplers and us flying Pakistani high flyers.

It's not worth worrying about or losing sleep over . There is no such thing as original content when it comes to racing pigeons . Most things spoken in racing pigeons worth knowing I would guess has been written about or spoken by Ad Shaerlaeckens . I have read the whole volumes of the racing pigeon weekly paper 2 years 104 issues 1898/1899 and even back then there were columns written on most subjects that are written orspoken about now .

they cannot be called people, how to steal the work of a person who does so much good for the entire columbophile community, it is disrespectful to do this!

I first saw widowhood system with cocks in the 1970s roundabout system and celibate hens around the same time . I first saw ybs being flown on the darkness system 1970s /80s also separation of ybs cocks hens and all sorts of feeding training systems which fanciers were successful with . There is nothing the fanciers of today are any better at or more knowledgeable than fanciers of 50 years ago . If anything the fanciers of 30/40/50 years ago were better stockmen than this generation of fanciers flying pigeons today .

Having a stock sense is very important. Years ago many grew up with animals and that could be transferred to pigeons.

As irritating as it is, plagiarism is the highest form of flattery. I know that Kenny Troiano over at Bred To Perfection/Breeder's Academy has had considerable issues with people stealing his content. A.I. may be a driving force in this issue, even though in Kenny's case, there was definitely an intent to "steal his shtick" and benefit from it.

Sad when others take my content. I have seen numerous videos. One person I hear sells my feeding system to fanciers that I give for free.

My comments are not being posted since last night and after several tries. I emailed the links to you and the channel of the content-thief. I also reported his videos similar to yours and gladly it was removed. In case my fellow subscribers want to help you report his videos, I'll comment his channel: "racing pigeons" with over 6.1k followers. Let us all help Frank on this!

@FrankMcLaughlinPigeons One thing to look into are what are known as "DMCA Takedowns", which outlines the process for the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you don't get a result with the "report" button, using the DMCA is the best next step. When the web was young, plagiarism was a constant issue if you created written content. If you published written content of any sort, you'd soon find websites and message boards poaching the content to keyword spam search engines. In many cases, you'd find your content in ebooks. In my situation, I finally just threw my hands up because I was having to spend one day per week hunting plagiarists and stopped because of the time involved, but using the DMCA is very effective and tends to get swift results.

Thank you for this. I will take a look. Years back I was having my written articles taken and one person removed my name on a Van Reet article and put in his name as his Van Reet history. Some people are really low.

One example that I found on internet is: "www.youtube.com/@racingpigeons-tips". I had the surprise to find-out whole articles written by S.W.E Bishop a.k.a. Old Hand, transformed in videos, without even mentioning the author. This guy probably did not consider that pigeon fanciers could read these books, even if they are older. Personally, I believe it is disgusting - practically theft, and after watching a couple of these clips, I stopped consulting his channel. Maybe he is also using your work as well?

It is nice to see people unsubscribing from channels stealing others content. Anyone can post what is said in a book or someone else's video. I am using my 50 years in the sport to provide my content.
