Eine sehr gute Idee, ich habe viele deiner deutschen Videos verfolgt , bin immer auf der Suche nach Neuigkeiten und tollen Plätzen in Bangkok. Hi Christian, great idea to do english content as well. but as many already asked, why not publishung everything in one channel? what is the main reason to split content? I think Discover Thailand is a "perfect home" for both, german and english content. Are there any legal restrictions or any inconvenience youtube pushes on you? Keep going you positive energy and nice videos!

Most people can probably speak English, but just a very few people outside of Germany can understand German. And I want to avoid that videos get recommended to people who can't understand them. In the end they will unsubscribe or algorithm thinks that the video is not good (because people don't watch it). Therefore I think it is better to have one channel for each language 🙂

@@LostinBangkokThailand ok, thanks. i did not knew about these algorithm stuff, interesting fact that youtube assumes quality out of that numbers. In the end you do what feels best for you and people will find their way to you, good luck and stay healthy!

nice one, buy why not post in your german chan all the english ones as well i would not mind and most germans understand english anyway, aber auch gut dann halt beide chans schauen, is ja auch nicht schlimm, enjoy your day and keep posting

@@LostinBangkokThailand sure thing but just skip the german part and im sure not many would mind, as mentioned before most speak english anyway and for thos who dont it will be good to brighten there language skills for sure, na ja ich werde dennoch beide weiter schauen

Ich bin ja "gar nicht" neugierig, weshalb ich mir dieses erste englischsprachige Video von Dir ansehen musste. 🤷‍♂️ Dein Englisch ist zumindest heute für mich gut zu verstehen - als Negativdenker bin ich doch überrascht darüber (genau, positiv)!!! Ein Vorschlag, kannst Du nicht die deutschsprachigen und englischsprachige Videos in EINEN Kanal packen, mit entsprechender Kennzeichnung??? 😃

Das wäre theoretisch möglich, allerdings habe ich mich unter anderem aus folgenden Gründen dagegen entschieden. 1. Nicht jeder beherrscht beide Sprachen. Die meisten "Ausländer" werden kein Deutsch verstehen, bekommen diese Videos dann aber ständig vorgeschlagen. Bei 1-2 Videos wäre das egal, aber wenn es jedes zweite Video ist, nervt es und die Leute abonnieren den Kanal nicht mehr. 2. Für den KZread Algorithmus ist es ein schlechtes Zeichen, wenn Leute ein Video nicht schauen oder nach wenigen Sekunden abbrechen (weil sie z.B. kein Deutsch verstehen). Das Führt dann dazu, dass KZread die Videos als "uninteressant" einstuft und weniger Leuten vorschlägt. 3. KZread kann keine klare Zielgruppe identifizieren, da es immer zwischen Deutsch und Englisch wechselt. So weiß der Algorithmus kaum, wenn er die Videos vorgeschlagen soll.
