@@Firebolt1729 not really sure why it is a shame. He completed 95% of the lap, most drivers can't even do half of it in the same style. It was a great lap, no shame. The only shame he couldn't get P1

That Jeddah lap. I was like holding my breath the whole time before he hit the wall. It was honestly truly magnificent.

Max reminds me of Senna and Schumacher in a lot of ways. The talent, obviously, but also the passion and will to win, and the strong character, always staying himself and saying what he thinks.

Yeah but the difference is Max is such a dirty driver while fighting wheel to wheel. I respect the fights Checho/Alonso had with Lewis. If Max's competitors don't bail out on the corner there will always be incidents like Silverstone and Monza. Max is talented but dirty AF.

@@Firebolt1729 To be honest I have never seen them race. Wasn't born when Senna was driving and was just 9 years old when Micheal retired for the first time in 2006. I have watched F1 since 2010 and i have never seen Alonso Vettel race like Max did. and if micheal and Senna raced like how max does then i wouldn't have been their fan too

@@Firebolt1729 I don't know about other races but what happened in the whole Saudi race I am sure everyone would agree was pretty messed up. Leaving the track in Turn one twice. Getting a deal to move to P3 before the second start.

That Jeddah lap would’ve been lap of the season. Max truly made the difference in performance deficit between Red Bull and Mercedes in last third of the season as Mercedes pushed performance of their car to the limit. Helmut gets a lot of flack for his treatment of drivers but he does have a special eye for identifying top talent.

If Max had the Mercedes in Jeddah, he would have cut 0.5 seconds off Hamilton’s lap comfortably. Hamilton wasn’t extracting everything out of that Mercedes. He was so on the limit, that he almost binned it in sector 1. Couldn’t believe how fast he was going.

That’s why I’m a Schumacher and Max fan, these guys extract more then what the car is capable of, Hamilton was always gifted with top machinery.

Casual gamer, by cheating and extremely dirty driving. Educate yourself first before talking nonsense. Watch maniac Verstappen enter the corner after being overtaken by Hamilton after the start. He does that all the time, forcing others to prevent a crash he himself initiates. Dirty, dirty dirty.

Everyone going on about the Jeddah lap and being able to control the car on the limit, but he hit the wall! It's comical really. Max is an exceptional driver but he's over the limit sometimes when he doesn't have to be. Knowing when you've done enough is the mark of a true champion, like Schumacher for example. Anyway, I guess my comment will get lost in amongst all this blind admiration. Oh well.

Max Verstappen will make the F1 very interesting for the future !!! Thanks

Also as the video is titled "Helmut praises max" surely in the video they will be praising and looking at Max's achievement instead of his mistakes??
