Wackford calls him Blitzo as well, Wonder what kind of relationship they have. We've seen Wackford work in Greed's Loo Loo Land, so that might me an old relationship. Also, he promptly shoots the TV when Wackford's commercial aires in the Cherub episode, and Wackford maliciously mocks stolas for "sleeping with an imp" in the Ozz episode, even though he already probably knew Stolas and Blitz had some sort of love/carnal relationship (as evidenced by the Harvest Moon episode).

@@willywompa9663 one problem with your post: Stolas doesn’t have prejudice against imps in general, let alone Blitz. Ozzie’s showed he’s ashamed of the fact that he destroyed his family, not of Blitz or being with an imp. Why would he be friends with Blitz as a child and seek a relationship with him as adults if that were the case? You’re not being objective or seeing things from more than Blitz’s perspective. I’m not faulting you for this because it is Blitz’s show and therefore we’re only shown one perspective, but if the shoe fits and all. Stolas’s personality is very similar to my own, so I can say this with confidence: Blitz is insecure as all hell (understandably so) because of how high ranking Stolas is, therefore he thinks Stolas sees him as an object, even though he really doesn’t. It’s simply put projection. Stolas is really bad at flirting, most likely because he’s surrounded by repressed royals who do nothing but insult Stolas, so if it rubs off on him a little he can hardly be faulted for that. It’s not an excuse, but it makes sense. That doesn’t mean Blitz is right about Stolas seeing him as an object because clearly he doesn’t. Like it or not, Blitz has his issues too. They both need help, yes, but not for the reason you project onto Stolas. Stolas needs help because he’s insecure as hell too and his depression is causing him to smother Blitz. I’m not saying Stolas is guiltless because he really is awkward around Blitz, but you’re giving him far more crap than he deserves. He’s not Stella.

That’s actually so great. A similar thing happened with the main villain of Across the Spider-Verse: the directors initially discounted The Spot as a throwaway villain, which ironically became his story arch in the movie, an insignificant character to a real threat. The song at the end during the fight is one of the best in the entire show. In my top 5 for sure. It's so aware of itself as a goofy 80s montage ballad at first, then gets so goofy about it, it's so freaking funny. The lyrics kill me every time it comes on. And what's happening on the screen is hilarious, too.

I think it's beyond obvious the reason why Moxxie cared so much about this mission isn't because of his own ego, but to proof he's good enough for Millie When he told Millie Blitzo put him in charge, she was surprised, showing how even she doesn't believe in him, which Moxxie noticed. All the episode before also showed he always thinks Millie is too good for him, he literally called her "a better woman than I deserve" in S2E3, S1E5 also showed that insecurity, as well as Blitzo pointed out he cares too much about what others think of him in S1E6 That's why he wanted to crack this case his way instead of relying on Millie, eventhough he also knew she was right and the first suspect she found was the killer. I think that's why in the last scene, instead of using a gun as that's what he's good at, he used a knife, Millie's weapon, to proof he can do what Millie can, that he's equal to her, but of course Millie once again did his job without even trying, you can see how devastated he is at 18:52 Millie is one of the best wife in any media, she loves her husband and will do anything to protect him, she's also always supportive, but she never really gives what Moxxie truly wants, validation. The "he did?!" at 2:29 is a perfect way to show despite how much she supports him, she also doesn't believe in his ability, which is warranted because Moxxie is pretty bad at his job, but that's what worsening his inferiority complex, to be with a woman who's so much better than him in every way. Ironically Millie's speech at 12:05 is probably what Moxxie feels about this mission as well, and in the end he puts his own feeling aside and chose to give Millie the validation he didn't get Edit: Another detail I missed, Blitz clearly trust Millie more than Moxxie, in Ep.5 he immediately compliment her in front of her parents, something he didn't do for Moxxie. And in S2E2 when he's surrounded and in trouble, he specifically called out to Millie for help. If anyone was acting out of character, it's Millie and her sudden want for attention, when compared to Moxxie, she's clearly the more liked and respected one, especially from Blitz and even Loona. Moxxie just had his pend up inferiority exploded when he finally got a chance to be the center of attention and operation, and wanted to proof to Millie and Blitz

I relate to Moxxie So hard and I JUST want him to score the big W once in his life, Millie (and to a lesser extent Blitz) are probably the only good things in his life. Another opportunity for a small moment of glory for him just stolen from him cause Viziepop just can’t let him fully win this season. Well least he’s able to be awesome in that he managed to have enough sanity in spite of his awful childhood thanks to his bully of a father. he’s both my favorite character and spirit animal in this series.

pretty sure the reason he corrects ppl isnt because its the wrong way to say it. he has some sort of trauma (likely w his family from what we’ve seen) around that name and wanted to separate himself from it. so now he says the O is silent, even tho it originally wasnt. So thats a good detail seeing how his own sister calls him that because that’s probably what shes known him as her whole life. Nice catch tho, i didnt originally notice that

Please, can we just talk about how real Moxxie and Millie's relationship is? Like not only do they show a healthy loving relationship, but it's not always "Sunshine and rainbows", couples fight, but what made this very healthy was the fact that Moxxie realized what he did, and quickly tried to make it up to Millie. There wasn't any abuse, gaslighting, etc. Just, a healthy argument. That's what I love about these two.

Agreed. Honestly, she seemed to have a pretty good life: humble farm background, parents who love her and want the best for her, loving husband, good job. What happened to her that /she/ feels inadequate, when Moxxie has been getting insulted and berated most of his career and life, and is always treated like he can't do his job right from his boss. Even his own wife wouldn't believe he'd be in charge of a solo mission!!!

Millie mentioned that she has siblings in the Loo Loo Land episode. It's possible that she might have a brother or sister that overshadow her accomplishments, and gets more praise from everyone than her. Or maybe she's like Ty Lee from Avatar who always get compared to her siblings, and want to stand out. There's also hints throughout the series that Millie does tend to go into a murderous rage, especially when she gets very emotional that even scares Loona, in that episode where Blitzø and Moxxie were kidnapped in the human world. So it's also possible that as a child growing up, Millie is very hard to control for her parents and tends to put her in a leash type situation. That is until she met Moxxie, who is the only one who is able to curb her murderous rage.

@@jaketucker2559 I'd say it's a little different as we haven't seen Barbie Wire outside of photos or posters till now as opposed to Millie, who's been a somewhat active character in almost every episode yet never really gets a chance to expand past "loving but violent wife of Moxxie". There is still plenty of time for Barbie to get expanded on, but Millie has been long overdue for a chance to really shine.

I loved this! I love that they didn’t make them hate each other!

I just realized Blitzø could've taken that imp's amethyst crystal with him to make portals to Earth to find Barb and possibly use it for future clients but he didn't. Sure he was likely hyperfocused on finding Barb since that was his priority and didn't think to take it but it was also interesting... Not looking deep into it but it's something I noticed :0

Millie calling Moxxie "big guy" instead of "little guy" really says a lot about how she views him. Not like a baby who needs his needs met, but as a great guy who's going through a vulnerable moment. She knows he's not normally like this, she views him as someone special, even more special than herself, someone who in her view occupies the biggest space in her list of priorities. And on top of that she is secure of herself and is full of positivity to give to the world, and uses it to build others up. Moxxie could not have found a better woman to marry.

It proves that despite the near perfect nature of their marriage, there are times when Moxxie's need for emotional support can be be overwhelming, like when she wants her moment to feel special and needs Moxxie's emotional support too but isn't getting it. It only took this long due to what I would guess to be extreme patience with Moxxie and being rather strong mentally

@@therapscallion64753 I don't think that's a fair assessment. I think it's less of Moxxie being too big of a burden here, and more Moxxie pushing Millie away himself due to his infantile nature. One thing is being very emotional, other thing is disregarding someone else's feelings completely, just because you don't feel so good.

​@@alonewanderer4697This episode reminds me of my own experience as someone with narcissistic traits, tbh. Not NPD, but certainly close. Even if I'm trying, going to therapy and most of the time the relationship with my girlfriend looks and feels like what Millie and Moxxie have going on, we still have our downs. Like, I care about her a lot and I've changed so much to be a better boyfriend. I love her more than anything. There is always something she does that I don't have control over and I have to actively fight my own brain to let her be happy. It's painful but it's worth it every time I notice it gets easier. To me Moxxie was someone I related to at some level. Seeing his narcissistic breakdown only solidified my emotions. I know how he feels. I know the struggle of trying to be perfect and excel in everything, in pretending (and maybe even believing) you've got more charisma and confidence than you actually do. And then everyone pushes you away because, if they have enough experience, they can tell you're not genuine. A narcissist can have a healthy relationship but it's occupied by fighting their own insecurities, looking within themselves, understanding that you can't have control over everything that makes you feel unsafe. We have a broken self-esteem. We hate ourselves because we know we're shells while everyone around us seems like they're so much more genuine, warm, honest and kind. I've been so fucking jealous. To the point where I'd put down people around me just to "show them their place" and hopefully not see them doing better than me. I thought I could never achieve what they have. I still haven't yet, but I am on my way there. And my girlfriend is amazingly helpful, I'm trying to help her build boundaries between us even if I hate the feeling of them lol But I love that it means we'll be even healthier (and she will be happier!!!)

It completely shifted my perception of Moxie's breakdown, and it's not easy being vulnerable even through a screen. You really love your girlfriend, and you are a person worthy of living at peace. I hope you stay happy in life.

⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@BioYuGi an opioid addict, that’s not how opioids work 😅 in order for him to maintain such a high tolerance, he’d have to be a heroin addict himself and maintain using on a daily basis (since just one day of not using lowers your threshold), which he obviously isn’t as the show never goes out of its way to portray him as such. so it makes more sense that earth drugs have less of an effect on hellborns

Probably part of a sinner's punishment. Drugs do not provide an escape from hell, and merely give you cravings for what little they do. This also extends to imps as well for some reason, i'm guessing.
