Like he says in the episode, Fizz has a pretty much perfect life. He's famous, he's successful, he has animatronic doppelgangers all over hell, he has a fantastic relationship, he lives in a mansion, has the backing, love, and support of one of the 7 sins, he's doing better than 99.999% of the imps in hell. His injuries didn't hold him back, he succeeded despite them. So, it's pretty easy for him to forgive Blitzø because it isn't like he ruined his life. Plus, they were best friends and had been best friends since they were very young, so again, it makes it much easier to forgive.

I like that Blitzø asks Fizz that “you want me to get you out?” And Fizz says “Yes”. And Blitzø isn’t like “are you sure??” He just responds quickly without taunting him

I just realized once more what a precious person Stolas is. He gets turned down by Ozzy because of Fizz' beef with Blitz, accepts it immediately and sticks around to help his friend get his lover back. And seems really happy for them at the end.

Well we maybe should stop pretending that lust and love don’t go very very well together… as a society who… well Has and has had quite a problematic relationship with lust (whoa that’s even a good pun). Yeah like… lust is bad, lust is uncontrollable and is prone to hurt people (yeah maybe actually because people keep using that as excuse for r*pe culture), lust is something men have and they don‘t have so much emotions, etc. Etc. I think it‘s beautiful that Asmodeus is the way he is and should tell us a lot why so many people are so surprised and see it as a contradiction

I think a great thing to point out is that love is _not_ the opposite of lust. Lust can 100% exist without love and love can 100% exist without lust, but when the two are present together they mesh really well because they’re both attraction. Love can even make lust stronger and vise versa.

After this episode I wonder if what happened with Fizz is the reason Blitzø doesn't visit Stolas in hospital. Because he tried to visit Fizz and was told Fizz didn't want to see him. Now he's terrified of the same thing happening again (even though Stolas literally told him to visit - insecurities don't listen to logic). The depth in this show is crazy ❤

...that would make sense with how he was breaking *into* a rehabilitation centre to try and see his sister.

Something I noticed is that when Blitz says he was trying to get help during the fire, before you see him turn and focus on his mom, he does mouth to someone about Fizz being somewherre where he points to. I might be stretching just slightly but when slowed, it looks like he says "Fizz" to someone, pointing in that direction, cause he saw his best friend but knew he wouldn't get there in time. 15:57 is the time to slow down if any one was wondering.

Still, though, talk about a freak accident with the Circus Fire. All that because he couldn't confess to his best friend. All those lives lost or destroyed from a simple shove meant to portray his self-frustration. You'd think such a little emotion wouldn't be enough to cause such massive destruction. Poor Blitz has to survive and live through such an event, possibly on a day-to-day basis. Survivors of that fire need some serious PTSD therapy.

I mean he was a lot harsher on Moxxie and Millie, I assume that was because there was a crowd and he had a reputation to uphold, but this episode ended with him being more open about it in public, this was an episode about making amends I guess since Blitz and Fizz are now on good terms, which means Stolas and Ozzie could be too, Ozzie realized quickly that he and Stolas aren't too different from each other so he sympathizes more with him

He didn't diss the idea of love, he was all for it, he dissed the idea of forced love, of love potions, he said he won't force blitz to love stolas, that it should be natural, if anything Ozzie expressed he sees love as admirable and would respect stolas, as shown in the end when he didn't care about showing his love Infront of stolas, even though stolas be one of the few who Ozzie can't keep quiet, if anything stolas is probably way more powerful than Ozzie and could bring him down and Ozzie knows it!

Stolas really is one of the most calm, collected, well meaning characters of this show. He was cool when Stryker caught him, chill when Ozzy freaked out, and was completely fine when assassins were trying to kill him He has a lot of power, but with that much power most people would let it get to their heads, and Stolas just isn’t like that

It’s because he wants so BADLY to be taken seriously, but people keep throwing out horny one liners and innuendos that it deflates the tension he craves. But it’s not even limited to horn-dog zingers either. He reacted the same when Stolas snarked about tying somebody to train tracks and self-aggrandizing statues. In short, he’s a slippery tryhard that loves the Spaghetti Western aesthetic and loses his cool when that gets redirected or he comes up short.

Fizz waited all these years for a reason to forgive his best friend, to know that he didn't actively try to kill him, that everyone around him was lying about the truth. As soon as he knew the truth he started to forgive. He wanted blitzø back even if it was 15 years later. He is in a place now to have more than he ever imagined and rekindling their friendship was very important. Blitzø is so happy to have Fizz see the truth but he makes that joke at the end because after all of his trauma he doesn't know how to except emotions without trying to play it off.

Blitz actually got to apologize to someone he wronged in the past, and the apology was accepted and the two reached an understanding?! What an unexpected twist!

It was hard to notice but the love letter and the flower Blitzø had for Fizz at the accident makes so much sense. That explosion killed his mother and almost his first love crush, no wonder he had traumas. He's also surprised but happy when Fizz dances with him during the song, and he previously threw flower petals at Fizz. And when he hug him he had to make the "joke" about making out 😅 I think there's a lot of feelings here, but Blitzø confirms and rexonfirms next chapter Fizz and Ozz have something deep and good. I suppose he'll probably feel the same as with Moxxi and Millie, he's going to want that kind of bond but he's not sentimentally ready 😢

fun fact: when blitzø says "I'm gonna need a minute" it takes around a minute of screen time for him to finish.

I love how Asmodeous is like an actual sensible person dealing with chaotic lil fizz

This is my favorite episode for so many, many, many reasons. You get to see the real person within each character, and it makes me tear up every time. We learn so much about each of them: Fizz is the most forgiving, kind-hearted, sweet (and more adorable) imp in Hell. Ozzy is stronger than most of his Sin counter parts because he is able to be vulnerable. Blitz's smile is pulled off to show how he is the most complicated, yet gentle guy who is loyal, smart, and witty - yet so damaged, and scared to not only be hurt, but to hurt someone by mistake again. Stolas is as pure, gentle, and kind as Princess Charlie. He doesn't expect favors, or use the fact he helped Ozzy in order to get what he came for, and instead he is just happy to see Ozzy and Fizzy okay and back together. He accepts the 'no', helps anyway, and then leaves with a smile. Such rich and powerful characters that even the most heartless and unemotional of us can cling on to -- and with beautiful artwork and amazing voice acting and singing to go with it. Thank you so much for this and Hazbin Hotel. I haven't found this much happiness in a series in a very, very, very long time.

I thought "oz" was gonna be a mean character, but he is actually the most understanding and technically chill and calm person out of this whole show.

In real life both are in the Ars Goetia, and the list of the seven sins demon lords includes Asmodeus *neither are dogma or even trustworthy sources, but fiction referencing fiction is common enough, especially public domain *why Dracula shows up as the king of all vampires in so much media, public domain, famous literary work, and all that* with demons easier and better name drops that the casual fan can find quickly than trying to crack open some ancient mythological figures to fill those roles for western media.

I love that despite everything, Stolas and Asmodeus still remain respectful to each other, kinda want to see more of their dynamic.

When you think about it, Asmodeus doesn’t have any issue with Stolas in the “House of Asmodeus” song. He’s just pointing out and complementing how Stolas is living in the “spirit of lust”. It is everyone else’s reaction that is negative, Asmodeus is simply complementing Stolas, for something Stolas isn’t proud of. It makes sense Asmodeus would get along with Stolas, even if Stolas now doesn’t get along with him.

Can I just express how happy I am that Fizz and Blitz made up😭❤️ They seriously have such good chemistry and Fizz being Blitz’s first love makes so much sense. I NEED to see more of them together because they just understand each other and the trust they have is special. We see Blitz constantly reject or rebuff any act of kindness or affection directed towards him because of his deep self-loathing. Blitz believes that he doesn’t deserve love so he keeps his walls up and keeps everyone at arms length. He hides feelings with uncomfortable jokes or just being an asshole but with Fizz he fell apart almost immediately. While they still hated each other, they didn’t lose respect for the other, and I think they both knew that (though they would have never admitted it). Blitz broke down with Fizz because Fizz was the last time Blitz was able to love someone openly-before he lost everything. Even if they’re never able to FULLY repair the 15yrs of damage they still understand each other better than anyone else. If anyone could gain any ground on talking some sense into Blitz (regarding Stolas), I think it has to be Fizz. Blitz would likely still reject the initial message but he respects Fizz enough that he would entertain the thought and potentially challenge the beliefs he already has about himself. After all, if Fizz can forgive him, maybe he’s not so hopeless after all-maybe he’s not as terrible as he thinks. With the added support of Moxxie, Millie, Loona, Stolas, and maybe even Asmodeus, I think Blitz could *eventually* start to see that he IS worth loving and people DO care about him just as he cares about them. I love Blitz.

Now I fully understand why Fizz hated Blitz, he thought that he tried to kill him over jealousy and envy but in reality Blitz didn’t mean for that to happen but it ended up losing his mother and I see why Barbie hates him as well. She blames him for their mothers death and Blitz blames himself more because he accidentally caused the death of his mother. Seeing this episode I’m glad that Blitz and Fizz can be friends again, I only hope that in the next episode Blitz would re-patch things with Stolas.

So what really happened is that Blitzø was so distraught by being unable to give Fizz the happy birthday letter that he didn't even notice the green fire started by the fallen birthday cake and lost everyone in one night. Dang. 16:30 AHAHA they're still in the place trying to get out but airing out their feelings in the middle of it and just yell at them cause they are having a moment that haven't had in years- 23:31 I love how Stolas just smiled at seeing the lawyer panicking and looked at him all smug knowing he was about to get wrecked, hilarious and well earned considering it was all Stolas being calm and enjoying reading the deliberately boring contract that helped him sign only a fair contract. IMO its not that Stolas is "friends" with Ozzie, as a Goetia Demon, he is a subordinate to any Demon of Sin. That's why he had to request Ozzie for an Asmodeus Crystal and accepted that Ozzie can't give him one because Fizz hated Blitz0.

Ozzie and Fizz are absolutely adorable together, almost as much as Moxxie and Millie. Also, I love how even Ozzie, the embodiment of lust, stresses the importance of consent. Similar to how Bee-lzebub knows the dangers of using over-indulgence as a coping mechanism.

Ehh… it’s said you have to love yourself before you can truly love anyone else, which is relatable if you’ve been there. Blitzo has a lot of repressed self-hatred, a need to punish himself for his past, and struggles to give love back to those he cares about. He occasionally shuns what he gets, which hurts those he wants to love. Edit; I’m going to elaborate due to people misunderstanding me. When you hate yourself so much that you feel unworthy of receiving love, that you don’t deserve love, or especially to the point you reject love given to you, that is going to effect your ability to form and sustain healthy relationships in one way or another. Does that mean you can’t form such relationships, or give love? No; of course you can. But the fact remains that such a mindset will most likely interfere in some way until you grow past it. Yes, this is a tired old phrase. If you can’t relate, that’s great for you; but please don’t snub others’ experiences or pains in the process.

Fizzarolli's accident probably looked a lot like what happened to Darth Vader since they both suffered from severe burns and ended up having all their limbs replaced with mechanical ones. Fittingly both Fizz and Vader became far more famous after their injuries.
