This actually makes a lot of sense, and either way would be really cool characterization. Welcome back!

This makes so much sense now that I’m realizing it, because first strike hawk is is meant to represent a living soul and after it was destroyed, hellscythe is meant to represent death and finally the Phoenix is meant to represent immortality and resurrection.

I feel like that wouldn't happen, cuz from the 2.5 chapters that are out it's not that mystical, it's focused on the Sports part of Gear Sports, like I don't doubt he'll maybe upgrade to a phoenix, but it's probably just gonna be a normal upgrade

IMO the sports and realistic part really limits what they could do to the story. Like training, awakening, outside stadium battles and more. They could have mixed it with the sports thing.

@@gusfring69420 I mean Awakening is just the toy breaking lol, but like the first 2 Seasons of Burst weren't that mystical Shu did get possessed but it was after he already was becoming obsessed with being stronger, and Burst Season 1 is still my favorite Beyblade season cuz it was just a Sports Anime with really well written characters

I thought Hells Scythe or Hells Chain was Bird Kazami partner!

It can indeed happen and would be a cool little touch, but I think it doesn't really have to do with his name or appearance. Cuz Kamen X or X Cross is named after the "X", and doesn't really have any Dragon like stuff to him other than being on Pendragon and his dripped out shoes. But Multi is named that way because she uses multiple beys, so then again it can happen.
