Baenim Bae Nope, it isn’t. He sees reality as it is. Many people are like that, have seen that myself too. Not everyone is like that, luckily. But it happens, picking on the weakest draws the attention of themselves. I’m not saying it’s a good thing though. Personally I think it’s best for each person to focus on their own and their flaws, it doesn’t matter what others do. And if someone is falling behind and he/she is in your team, help him/her by teaching how it supposed to be done and have patience and understanding. In case of Raj, he is not very smart and on top of that a very big ego, so he acts like he knows it all. In that case, give a try to help him, but if he clearly doesn’t want to listen, then let him be and let him fall on his own. In the end, each of us has his own life and walks that life the way they want to. The only thing we really can control is our own life and actions, that’s why it’s best to focus on yourself.

I knew someone like Raj who had the exact same attitude and stupidity. My first experience with him was the fact he quit Purolator and joined Cargojet which he started working before even doing the interview. He believed that because he worked in a similar job he didn't need to go through the application process. I don't know how, but at the age of 37, he somehow didn't figure out that just because 2 jobs are similar it doesn't mean you're working at both of them. He was allowed to work because we had multiple people starting on that same day, and the supervisor wasn't aware of everyone. After 2 shifts the supervisor complained to the manager and he was politely asked to stop showing up until they had an interview.

I worked with a mechanic like that. Beside him and as his foreman. Bro was only worried about how he looked and how clean he stayed, and what music to play while he just opened and closed drawers on his tool box. It's definitely understandable and embarrassing. I've been there done that. What happens next is you soon realize that maybe you're just not suited for that role or position. No one is perfect at everything. Some people are amazing at sports, some chefs, some actors, lawyers, etc. Everyone has their specialties. Gotta find out what you're good at and what you enjoy.

@@hoaang9455 Well, rules are rules, regardless. In almost all restaurants, customers are required to order sides for the entrees. Vinny overstepped boundaries, especially in the 7th episode when he served old risotto to the VIP, who is Chef Ramsay’s wife.

honestly i just feel bad for him, i went thru what he goes thru. when i was younger i had a hard time defending myself, working under pressure, knowing how to handle myself with a crowd a difficult situations. its a mental thing, Raj unfortunately just cant handle it so he has a breakdown. Hells Kitchen wasn’t for him, im sure hes a chill guy and a good cook tho. however,he probably had a life as a chef where things sorta just went his way, which is why he has these sorta difficulties. He needs a wake up call and i think hells kitchen did the trick. it helped me.

I used to work with a guy like Rah once. I asked him to fetch a bucket of water so we could clean the inside of the spray machine. He'd confuse the milk with mayonnaise then he realises hes all out of 'milk' the he goes across the road to get the 'milk' but he will look up and down instead of left an right, then he'd go to the store and get the milk nthenhe gets hit by a car and calls in sick because he has an ingury then he finally makes you the ceral without the bowl and instead of a spoon its a fork

I could imagine what his parents must have went through when he was a kid

The only reason Raj stayed so long in the competition is because the producers knew their show would get much more attention with his clumsiness

Of course to also follow orders from the head chef. If you don't, you get shit for it. You fuck up an order, waste food and time? You get shit for it. Hence why Gordan says Raj is "out of his league." If you're shit, you're out.
