it was an honour and privilege to be part of the memorial ride LLH&R

I keep getting this video pop up in recommendations so I finally had a gander. I'm reminded of a scene in a '50s b-movie called 'Ring of Fire' where a town is evacuating from - you've guessed it - a fire, and a constant flow of traffic is clearly affected by having the same dozen-or-so cars drive toward and beyond the camera, turn, turn, turn again and re-join the exodus at the back of the queue. It's not only the only reason I remember the film, it's all I remember about the film. Except of course this is a genuinely impressive turnout in tribute to your fallen comrades.

Awesome ! and amazing how you all co ordinate while riding so well like stopping traffic, I know how hard it can be riding in a large group.

My father use to be in the hells angels when he was young.

Hells Angels as i know it, are a bit more relaxed in bike class terms in UK. I have much respect for all these guys and gals, love em all. You will notice it is a tribute ride for a fallen Angel, a lot of diff bike clubs that knew the fallen Angel will join the tribute in respect to a fallen brother or sister. I only wish I was there as I cry each time I watch this... Why'o'why do odd people keep sayin silly things about the Hells Angels... such a great family I am so honoured to have a friendship with in some of their members in Northern Ireland.. Keep the rubber on the road and stay safe, to all bikers around the world.

Riding and staying together for this reason they should and have the right to stop traffic as there are so many. It's a mark of respect. Follow the code of respect, then you won't go wrong.

@@jakerobertson6092 No it was actually genuine, however ridiculous and laughable it is - the guy called Carl, "Sad Happy" is still knocking about. The BBC sadly did not invent the mockumentary back in 1973, it just happened to come across as really quite funny :D

I know its 3 years down the line but Andy from London is still in the club, 50 year man. He was in the documentary when they showed all the "trophys" (IE all the patches they had taken from other groups)

And stopping traffic is not illegal , trucks do IT when they unload or park , cars do IT when they wait to let someone in Between there lane , so what the hell are you talking about only the last bike did not have a license plate . And another thing if you want to talk about Breaking the Law , Maybe the police should arrest Cyclists they Brake the Law twice as much and they dont do anything against that either .

Oh fuck off with the "I am justifying law breakers" Motorcycle Gangs will dry up and disappear because this shit is slowly getting less and less tolerated i mean hell look at most MC's from the 90's to now in the uk, they are not what they once was, they hold less power than they once did so eventually all this rule breaking will catch up with them. and before you go "Where did you see any of these riders without helmets" go watch the second half of the video where like a dozen or so of their members are riding with those shitty helmets they brought off ebay that are designed to look like helmets used in wars, sorry to say but they are not proper biker helmets and are ding dong ILLEGAL... Christ on a bike i bet you probably think murder is legal because "Psychopaths get to do it so why can't we" the entire point of laws is to make sure people are punished, MC's are getting close to the point where the LAW will start getting them. Also something to end on *RESPECT IS EARNED NOT GIVEN*

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the full patch Hells Angels members can only ride Harleys, right? Those guys riding sportsbikes weren't members of the HA, right?

Moors Hound No you can't. There are usually very strict rules about what the members of motorcycle clubs like the HA can ride. I've heard that you have to have at least a 1000cc Harley Davidson to be a full patch member.

+hexagon523 and I've heard that it can be any motorcycle over 600cc AND that you're allowed to ride more than one bike; so you might have a 1000cc harley in your arsenal, but also some sort of sporty bike for different occasions. Doesn't mean that you're not allowed to ride some smaller bikes... At the end of the day it's all about practicality, everyone has to be able to keep up with a ride for a certain amount of time. Usually Harley sportsters are out because their tanks don't last very long, or at least not as long as a dyna or something.

Vladimir Levachyov Well maybe you can ride 600cc bikes in the European and Asian chapters then, but I'm pretty sure that in the US chapters the HA members are required to ride at least 1000cc Harley Davidson cruisers/choppers, with no exceptions. The Hells Angels is an American MC and can you seriously imagine an American HA member riding a Yamaha or Kawasaki sports bike? LOL I sure can't!

Practicality? You have to remember this is in England where the majority of the roads are tiny and twisty. Big Harleys' are just not practical. Hell! *There are no long stretches of open road in England.* None! Zero! It's just tiny little twisty A & B roads with designated M (motorway) roads.
