Church is one of my favorite place to go

didn't really care for them making pinhead just a generic stereotype "horror guy" against religion and God 🙄. He never cared about God or the devil, didn't hate either one, he's outside of all that. He's the embodiment of suffering, that's all he cares about. That's what made him cool and mysterious. He didn't care if you were good or bad, he fed off your pain, no matter what the reason.

Yeah, technically this ISN'T necessarily the "same" HellPriest (Pinhead) from Pts 1&2, as Dr. Channard had freed/separated the entity in the 2nd film (probably necessary, if he wouldn't have been able to beat him otherwise) THIS Pinhead was SUPPOSE to be unhinged due to that. But you're right respectfully, Hellraiser 2 is [arguably] the BEST in the series *overall

You see he says “thou shall not bow down to any graven image” hinted to the priest that even tho he thinks he is a saved man he is indeed a blasphemer just like pin head. Also we hear the priest say demons aren’t real. If he understood his Bible he would know they are both parable and real, many if not all things are. See guys “church goers” originally catholic which originally Roman. Aren’t going to Christ’s church because there isn’t a church building mentioned once in the Bible. The church mentioned is the body of Christ, the literal collective of people that will “be with him” after they die. So with these points I’ll make one last one, was pinhead really in his own church of blasphemy?

My God I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! Doug Bradley's Pinhead makes Ian McDiarmid's Emperor Palpatine look like Mister Rogers. The sacrelige in the Hellraiser films--hence the self-inflicted Stigmata--is unparalleled, and the gore-level ushered in by the master, Clive Barker, is unmatched since. I love Bradley's line, "Burn? Oh, such a limited imagination! This is my body, this is my blood. Happy are they who come to MY supper." Can you PLEASE post the scene where Pinhead emerges from the Pillar of Souls?

Haha, you shouldn't have cut it so soon. Pinhead forcing his flesh inside the priests mouth is great. This is easily one of my favorite scenes of all-time.

Sometimes I question my arousal when watching Hellraiser, but then I get sucked back into Doug Bradley's yummy voice. When he mimics the crucifixion and says "I am the way", it gives me all sorts of goosebumps... :)

When Pinhead was mocking the crucifixion of Jesus that must have pissed off a lot of Catholics I know that this scene pissed off my mother when she took me to see this in the movies when I was 14. She was slinking in her chair when she watched this scene. All I heard from my mom was cries of disgust and disappointed grumbling. This movie and this scene in particular made her really uncomfortable that and the fact that she is really squeamish when it comes to looking at gore. I never saw her that angry watching a movie in my life.

His soul left .his entitiy is without the ghost. So it the pillar of souls that brings him back. While the Ghost tries to get him back. His soul or the box leaves the body in the second film and he's killed. This films makes pinhead perfect and dangerous and more powerful.
