The thing I love AS the most for, is how it shows that the experience with Peterson really left a big damage on his mental health. Unlike in the games, I can see how this affected him. He even has mental breakdowns now!

YES the Nicky rage from the books is back.

I love how Jay and Luanne Roth made a cammeo. Almost like a little callback to the books. I've always wondered how the parents were affected when their son disappeared, and their life after Mr. Peterson was exposed. And it wasn't just random placeholder parents either like we had in the pilot. It was straight up the parents from the book. Even Nicky lashing out at his friends for thinking he is crazy is kind of like a callback to the books.

And they are going for a more darker and horror movie vibe with this season. Can’t believe what I heard about Nicky telling the truth about Mr. Peterson and/or the guest. He probably saw the guest and then reaching his breaking point saying it out loud to Trinity and the others including the whole town.
