The hard part with head injuries can be some long lasting affects. Mood swings, emotionality, headaches, sensitivity to light etc. Being young is a huge advantage in his recovery and hopefully avoiding long term affects. My father law had emotional swings for a few years and would often cry when he was meaning to laugh or smile after a head injury left him in a coma for 14 days. All the best wishes for a full recovery. Wear helmets kids!!
