Playing video games is kinda different than playing piano with piano you need to be precise and know where your fingers go at all times video games in some ways is kind of brainless because you know which buttons do what thing but at the same time it’s not when doing something like say puzzle games and the like, coming from a woman that is not only a gamer but also knows how to do crochet so there’s that

This is I think, when all is said and done, why Sean's popularity is well-earned. He's just so genuine in general. I remember watching his DDLC let's play and his reaction to Sayori's confession was to stop the stream for several minutes and just empathize with people who were going through the same thing. And not only that, but with her as well. She's just a drawing and at that point you as the player have known her for like a couple three hours, tops, but nevertheless he was so clearly invested in her well-being.

Jack has no idea how much money that actually is when you convert it to brazilian currency. Just for perspective: depending on where you live, that could range from 2 to 5 months of rent. Also, that's more than 2 months worth of minimum wage. It's a fair amount of money. No wonder the dude couldn't believe it.

In short, the guy speaking Portuguese was just in disbelief mainly because his normal donations are 10 bucks of their currency. The dollar is pretty expensive over here at Brazil so the value you donated would be about 2.000 bucks of their currency... you basically donated him half a motorcycle. Also you wrote it correctly.

I played the double bass my fingers were too chunky for the cello. But I always admired the cello and the players 90% because of their dexterity and was 10% jealous because of how often they got the melody😂😂

I feel like Jack forgets that he’s basically known worldwide…he’s so down to earth.

I'm not sure what's more amusing. Their reactions to the jacksepticeye donating money to them, or jacksepticeye's reaction to them knowing who he is.

That was so awesome and wholesome - the first drummer guy and the violin girl; their reactions tell you that they have been doing their streams for some time with not as much success as maybe they would have wanted, but still pouring their hearts and minds into it. And the donations showed them that they matter, that their craft is seen and appreciated and that they too can be rewareded.

I was really hoping Jack would have realized that the last drummer he donated to, the one who said his band hasn't worked in 7 months, that's the drummer for Motionless in White. It breaks my heart that such a badass band can't even tour to support their day to day needs. And for Jack to make his day by giving him 500 without realizing who he is, that's just crazy to me. But crazy in a great and heartwarming way. You're the best Jack.

The guy who speaks Portuguese just kept saying that "This isn't possible!". And he kept saying "What is this?". Or the equivalent of "What's happening?" and "No way!". I'm pretty certain he's actually Brazilian. His accent isn't anywhere near to the stereotypical Portuguese accent. To add to my thesis, I've lived in Brazil for over a decade and my family is brazilian, plus Reais popped up as currency for the donation of which is the national currency so, I'm 99% sure on this call.

Coming back to watch watch this made another day better. I love hearing on people play instruments really well especially the Violin. I used to have a friend who loved playing the violin. He had one his parents bought him and he played so many songs back in my elementary school music class. Everyone loved hearing him play and they'd be impressed because he's just a kid. Most of us couldn't even get that good at something like that by the time we were in like 4th grade. I really miss hearing him play the violin and I heard from his friend that he actually went to a music competition somewhere and won. He really got me into music as a kid. I would be spend hours playing my plastic recorder to get better at it out in my backyard. I never got really good at playing the Recorder but I was pretty good at playing it compared to my classmates. I would love to meet him again and see where he went with the violin playing. He once told me he'd want to play in some kind of orchestra or group at least once to see what it's like.

I have watched this multiple times and your other video doing this same thing, I am really happy you did this! It probably helped these people a lot and it helped me mentally because I cope by seeing people feeling happy and thankful which helped me during tough times.

So uh, im one of the mods who was in the chat of FrankieWuzHere when you donated, and i just wanna say thanks! He really works his best to be inclusive, kind, and compassionate towards the people who watch him, and it means a lot to me that he got all that love sent his way!! Thanks jack!

This is so warm and wholesome. It can help understand the perspective of those who donate a lot to streamers, can show how needed even knowing someone is looking out for you can be, and honestly its just nice to know that there are great people, both on the recording and viewing side, and how dependent both sides are of eachother. I always love your content, and I'm glad I randomly clicked on this video.

yeah most streamers panics when they see a big donation, I once watched a streamer gets donated like $5000 and he was absolutely terrified when he saw that donation. It turned out to be some kid misclicking a donation, he meant to donate $50 and for some fucking reason he typed 5000 instead. Pretty funny but also fucked up considering the fact that many trolls fuck with streamers by donating a lot of money and refunding it later.

Saw this randomly pop up on KZread again after over a year. Made me so happy to watch. You've got to do something like this again, it was awesome.

What a wonderful way to react to that feeling, and what a wonderful thing to use your, situation, to enable. You really do seem like a genuinely kind and wonderful person, and that's hardly ever the kind of person it seems that lands in your "spot" so I'm really happy about it.

Jack, your "eu gosto do seu microfone" was on point. All the brazilian guy said was "what was that", "what the fuck was that" and "no way" over and over again. If you look at his video you can see that you actually donated more than 2.600 reais, which is the equivalent of almost three months of work on minimal wage here in Brazil. Just so you have some idea of what you did, the government is paying some people that can't work (not all) 5 monthly payments of 600 reais for a total of 3.000 so people can get by during covid. For an american to receive 300 bucks in a single donation might be amazing, but for a brazilian to receive more than 2.500 reais is absolutely insane. That's why the guy was in complete disbelief. I would actually sugest that if you end up doing that again for brazilian streamers, to donate something in between 50 and 100 dollars. Because that would already translate to a good amount of money in our currency, and you could reach more people and make more peoples' days .

I really enjoyed when you got to the musician section. Even as someone who isn't a musician in any way shape or form, these guys have aspirations towards the arts that are very difficult to make a living doing. Their reactions were so insanely wholesome and it felt less like charity from you, like you were acknowledging their accomplishments.

These are some of my favorite videos you do. It's just so wholesome and loving and you obviously have genuine appreciation for what these people are doing -- and it's always funny how you're like "they know me?!" -- everybody knows of you! I've rarely met people who watch anything on KZread and don't at least know your name. I envy you being able to do this -- I would love to be able to spread smiles helping those trying their hardest to create and share things!

This kind of stuff makes me smile so much. It's the people who will give something of their own with no regard of getting anything in return that I find so cool. I've always thought that sacrifice is one of the most powerful ways to show kindness, and this just goes to show that. Love it. Also, as a little p.s, I'm a cellist and it's cool to see the instrument finally get some recognition
