Stumble across this scene at tiktok and I’m totally fascinated with this musical . Unfortunately I won’t be able to see it cuz I live in Brazil but I’m wishing everyone the best wishes and may everything be as amazing as I feel it already is! You did a wonderful job! 😍😍

this is the second video to look at this musical and I am totally hooked. It looks like theatre magic with some good , deep , music wizardry in the school of Sondheim. This may have looked a simple song, but it was actually a complex work of timing

I am so grateful I got to see this live and in person with the originals. In such a difficult time. You guys were brilliant!
I was lucky to be able to go see it this week and what magic this show has! Beautiful staging, the humor always works, the songs are gorgeous and the actress playing Queenie blew my mind. Will definitely see it again after November

@@maybebabyny typically musicals cast older actors for younger roles bc 1) you can’t see their faces clearly from the audience 2) adults have stronger voices and aren’t subject to comical changes like teens are and 3) child labor laws. This isn’t universal, as some shows cast children. But if the character is a teen there’s a 50/50 shot depending on directors that they’re at least college age or older. Just a little insight!

Why not just speak the words, instead of "sing" (if that's what you call this) It's a perfectly ok thing to do in the theatre.

Why kissing people while they sleep is still something we are excited about though…After all of the movements we have had after all the women that have come forward and the femicides in this country… I don’t care if it’s the story..CHANGE IT!! Stories evolve to reflect the ethics of the times.. Are those still our ethics????

I actually agree. It’s not woke. It’s just that it was wrong then but now we know better? Anyway don’t attack people for expressing their feelings? That’s also new but very welcome….doesn’t stop people though does it.
