For everyone that is asking I will answer in this post. How I attach the botanicals in my grimoire: clear packing tape. That's honestly it 🌾 I press the leaf or flower and make sure it is flat to the page before laying the tape over. Hope this helps!!!! 💎🧚‍♀️ much love!

ahhhh I know i’m like a year late to this. my mom just showed me my grandmothers grimoire that she started when she was 18 and i’ve decided to start my own as i will soon be turning 19. it scares my parents because they don’t want me to get into anything dark but it is apart of my blood and I don’t think there’s anyway to avoid it. very beautiful book! thank you for sharing ♥️

I got my grimoire for 2 dollars at Walmart and I love it like it's some expensive historical artifact. I think its nice having a book that isn't too fancy or pretty and then letting the love that you put into it make it beautiful!

Your grimores are very inspiring! I've always thought there wasn't much point except for final, very permanent practices and such. But having one that follows you through life sounds very spiritual and fulfilling.

I sometimes get in that super witchy mindset too, like when you feel really powerful and strong and happy because of your witchy side. If you feel very connected to deer symbolism I would recommend researching a goddess by the name of Ellen. Ellen of the Ways, I believe, is a Scandinavian goddess of the forests, deer, ancient wisdom and travel. She keeps the trails of life and follows the deer trodden trails, the ancient paths carved by the ancestors and remembered by their descendants. She is a reindeer goddess as she has antlers on her head, reindeer being one of the only deer subgroups where even the females grow antlers. She is most commonly seen as a mother or maiden and while too do not invoke deity for my own personal reasons, Ellen is one of the few deities out there that isn't defined by her sexuality or fertility and still remains a maiden energy, wild and curious. My animal symbol has always been the wolf, but my love for Ellen helps me find balance between the power of that wolf and the gentle grace of the deer she represents.

In December I was driving to work and my tire blew. I ended up parking near a pharmaceutical company. For the next 5 hrs until AAA came, troops of deer kept me company. It was pure bliss and an instant anxiety reducer to be surrounded by them. They're wonderful.
