So what's your overall opinion of this dlc pack? The kinetic shield seems a lil underwhelming, but you've actually used it so how do you feel about it and the other 2 items in the pack?

hazeddon I typically don't stand in firing range of enemies, so the Kinetic Shield isn't that desirable to me. I do think it will be good for people that like to stand around and fight or from behind the Razorwire or in Snow maps where its not easy to fall back. The other two items in the Entrenchment Pack are excellent. There is the Razorwire which is a long lasting barrier that both slows and harms approaching enemy units (used in the above video), and there is the manually operated anti-tank turret which is one of the best options for defending an area against enemy units that require anti-tank weaponry.

cusman78 Yea I kinda wrote the shield off once I realized it only blocked from the front. Good to hear the other two are good, I was particularly excited about the anti-tank turret because I struggle vs cyborgs so hopefully that'll help.

hazeddon The manually operated anti-tank turret is amazing vs Cyborgs. Do get that 2nd upgrade for increased turning speed. I don't remember what the Mk3 upgrade for that does, but that Mk2 upgrade I consider very useful.

interesting... just got my Suppressor fully-upgraded, so was wondering if i needed to tweak my current load-out which comprises of the Guard Dog attack-drone and the Hellfire bombs for area-denial. the barbed-wire fence seems to be indestructible so i guess they're good if you have to be in the area for a good while. also, i think the barbed-wire fence prevents the Cyborg Master Unit from rolling over it, so yeah!!!

Dsi Suyidno The main challenge of Suppressor is you cant use it once enemies get too close. The SH-32 Directional Kinetic Shield seems to let you fire just a little bit closer safely than without it. The Heavy Armor doesn't necessarily help that much, but I do think it helped me survive with 0 deaths in this particular mission on a few occasions where I might not have lived through. I think when downed, have lot more health / time to get back up. Not sure if Auto Injector would be overall better since has no movement penalty. This was an experimental run to test out effectiveness of Heavy Armor + Direction Kinetic Shield at avoiding Suppressor damage to self. Even as you can use the Suppressor to great effect, do keep in mind if you have Defend missions and enemies get close, you have to switch to Pistol sometimes. I don't think Barb wire (or anything) prevents the Cyborg Master (Siege Mech) from rolling over and destroying. It even took out our Hammer tank that we tried against it by squashing it. It does however seem to keep the IFV (Tanks) at bay.

I've been using the 'bubble' shield and find it more useful than the kinetic shield. One issue I have with the kinetic shield is it doesn't provide cover from the back, especially needed when you turn and run away for reload. And it doesn't protect you from fatricide :P

+BlackJacketWasp Both shields have different strengths. The key strength of the SH-32 for me is that it is always active like the Heavy Armor Perk but without the slower mobility, while the SH-20 is more like the Displacement Field Perk but without the random relocation where it gives you a mulligan against most kind of harm, but then goes inactive for a number of seconds.

Hi man. Nice video. Can you tell me what is happening with cyborg Dogs attacking you infront when you wear the kinetic shield? Because when you wear the energy shield (the bubble) they don't jump on you (I am yet to try the kinetic shield). And how much damage the shield stops from the gatling guns of the cyborg Hulks. Can I be the guy who protects my teammates from gatling fire, while shooting back at Hulks? Or is it only a little layer of extra "health" (as the energy shield is)? Watching the video I almost answer my questions, but it will be great if you could spare few words and share your thoughts.

+AGEMO When using the SH-32 Directional Kinetic Shield, the Hounds will still go after you, but not as effective if they hit your front side. When you use the SH-20 Shield Generator Pack (bubble shield) they get confused waiting for something else to take out your shield before rushing you.
