It will be interesting to see how well vehicles fare vs the Automatons and their ranged attacks. The Bastion would need to have very good armor and maneuverability to be as useful as it was in the first game.

@@cusman I never played the first game, but I've seen the healy gun and drone stratagem stuff. I'm curious if they add those , and/or what they might make different considering there are self healing items standard in the second one I would LOVE to run around as a TF2 medic in HD2. And yeah for sure, if they add the Bastion they will need to give it equal or greater armor values as the Automaton tanks have - MINIMUM. Realistically with 3D tank related combat, I feel like it should be untouchable by most of the automaton laser weapons, save ONLY the automaton equivalents of Anti-tank weapons or the cannon lasers. If Arrowhead were to add something as durable as a tank, they'd probably drop an enemy unit that excels specifically in anti-vehicle stuff right after. I am so excited for this games development omg

Just unlocked the Bastion tank last night. It's such a beast, seeing it here in action just reaffirms that point. Great teamwork in this video!

+AbyssWalkerX8 Thanks. The few co-op stratagem options in the game like Bastion, RL-112, and Commando are especially powerful with good team work.

very true the bastion is better for most situation against cyborgs because it has only two places and has the same speed as a foot soldier it forces any other players to stay outside and shoot the light infantry and take care of the objectives making the bastion a great support vehicle when there is at least 3 players plus its so tanky compared to the HAV

Weirdly enough, I just use the Bastion as a high HP bait on high difficulty solo runs. I just park it near objectives like minefield clearing, launchpad, geological survey, extraction, etc. After that I could just focus on completing them, or just chill in a corner and wait until the shuttle arrives. For optimal use of the Bastion, I'd say by minimum you need 3 players total; 2 to operate it, the 3rd for reps and to cover another angle of the squad.

Oh yes, the Bastion is great as a Distractor that keeps enemies occupied as you complete objectives like Defend Launchpad and Perform Geological Survey. Especially in my own experience vs the Illuminates against whom you often don't even need to use any healing and can just get into the Bastion and drive to next objective when you are ready and you will just crush through all the enemies. Really only have to watch out for Obelisk wall forming attack, and otherwise it is very hard for any of their units to hurt.

it was coll using that tank but why use the tank not the other one that can brought 4 people on the battlefield

well you are wright but if 2 players have the tank they dont want what will you do :)

i just got mine, i cant even find a place to use it, any time i try and use it everyone gets pissed off and tells me its usless then i ususaly get kicked.. some guy went as far as to say its the worst vehicle in the game, i would like to say i love it, but i havent even gotten a chance to even use it ;/ this video is what i was looking for :) im guessing its one of those tanks, you use with your buddies who all have mics so you can communicate instead of playing with pleb scrubs.

MollysMoshing TankCrew It is a co-op stratagem. Use it when you are playing with a buddy and will have one of you as driver and the other as gunner. It is extremely powerful. It is main vehicle I opt to use when going against Cyborgs on Snow on Hell Dives (like when assaulting Cyberstan). When not playing on Snow, many people don't bother using any vehicles because now they just slow you down. So when playing with randoms maybe limit vehicle use to Snow planets. When playing with friends, do whatever you all feel like doing.

oh thanks, i figured it would be very usefull agenst the cyborgs, because of the tanks and all that, but yeah i play with randoms all the time :/ they arnt competent enough to know how to use the damn thing, im sitting there, willing to even let them be the gunner and i get this one guy who spams the gun till its out of ammo it drives me crazy.

but the tank just brought 2 men sorry im not hate at the tank call me back please

You can always use 2 tanks if you really want all 4 squad members in vehicles, or you can use the HAV. Really no truly bad options in the game. Players on foot are faster than both Tank and HAV, so just because there are vehicles on the field doesn't mean everybody has to get on :)
