Why would you want to macro the stratagems, panicking and hitting the wrong combo is half the fun!

It’s honestly pretty fun just the process of mastering the codes and once you get it down you feel badass 😎

i get the point for accessibility to disabled people etc, but its literally designed this way for a reason, why dont you think they put it as 1-2-3-4-5? Because they want you to frantically go for the buttons when chased down by xenos. Not rocket science

People use macros in MMOs, MOBAs and ARPGs and no one bats an eye. People use macros in Helldivers 2 and everyone loses their minds. These things are perfectly legal and it's hurting no one else's game. I have a good memory and konami-comboing these orbital strikes is nothing but if I can have a macro to do the thinking for me to save a squad in D9 i'll use it.

First sentence is just blatantly wrong. People do care about someone else using macros in OSRS for example. But yes, however pathetic this is, its just a PvE game so it's not affecting anyone else negatively.

@@ibby2492 I've been seeing Macros in online games since 2007. Perfect World International and Star Trek Online had so many people using them that the game devs decided to actually implement in-game macros and let people edit icons and everything. Those online games have PvP and I didn't see a soul complaining. All of a sudden a PvE Co-Op game has it in 2024 and the drama is like never before. Talk about hypocrisy.

@@markv8 While that might be the case for some (or even most) games, the same can't be said for all games. Macro'ing in OSRS is bannable and has been for years.

love it! might have to break out my scimitar elite again and start doing this, I just have to find a way to fix the scroll wheel issues... up is down and down is up, but only sometimes😭😭
