This game sure has been a massive surprise for 2024. I also love the way they are rolling out the new content.

The LAS-16 Sickle looks like a Jem'hadar Battle Rifle from ST: Deep Space Nine. While the LAS-7 Dagger reminds me of a Type 2 Federation Phaser

Has the development team fixed the constant crashing on PS5 yet? I crashed 8 times last night after the patch.

I'm gonna probably keep my current armor set which is just the cavalier armor with the light gunner helmet. I am the Hellranger

TL;DR: The nerfs were justified and needed to happen for them to maintain their vision, even though I may not like it. Also to reduce the amount of power creep necessary for the new weapons to be relevant. Soloing difficult 9 should be impossible without perfect stealth and there were 10’s of thousands of players that were completing them solo with record times. I expound more below. There is a substantial disconnect between the players and the devs over one very important topic, especially when regarding balance, and both are at fault. It is SUPPOSED to feel like you’re barely scraping by. I do agree with a few posts that the damage output from the Automatons needs to be adjusted if they are going to nerf the energy shield as heavily as they did, however feeling outnumbered and outgunned is part of the game. It supposed to be difficult, it’s supposed to be a struggle, it’s supposed to feel like we are getting hammered from all sides and all times. The team is passionate about maintaining their vision for the game and while I may not know exactly what that vision is, I do not see the power level of the players ever changing. The nerfs may be a little softer in the future and spread over time but the breaker/shield/railgun combo was WAY too powerful. As for soloing content, it is not an intended method of playing the game. That should be obvious from the moment you first complete the tutorial, the option is there if you choose to do it, but it will most likely never be supported. What am I talking about? The power level of weapons will be in line with the idea that they will be used in conjunction with a 3-4 person team. If weapons are strong enough for 1 player to single handedly complete about tier 4 content without significant effort then they are too strong. Edit: If you’re wondering why I bring up soloing content so much, it’s because I believe that it’s the cause of the nerfs.

The most powerful weapon this game has is when you try to start it from Steam and crashes your computer.

See I never used the railgun in the first place because well... I like fire and explosions which.. while yeah the railgun and railgun orbital as well as the laser orbital are the "meta" picks.. I don't use them cause I love making big explosions and currently, weapons like the recoiless rifle, GL, disposable AT, etc all kinda... suck at dealing with things like chargers and the like... especially when the game throws like 6 of them at you simultaneously. If we're supposed to rely on our stratagems in order to deal with bigger stuff like that, then more of them need to become viable to deal with them or just... nerf chargers... (seriously FUCK chargers)

@@starwarshqThey use nProtect Game Guard, practically the worst one, runs at kernel level and just not good.

The railgun is literally the same if you use un-safe mode

It's not and that's the biggest problem because the devs said it should be. The railguns overall armor penetration has been nerfed and that's what it's used for. It takes longer to strip armor off charger legs regardless how much it's charged up and I have yet to be able to pierce the automation roit shields with the railgun no matter how much I charge it up.

Even if it did the same, which it doesn't, unsafe mode is like a 3 second longer charge time. So you need like 20+ seconds to kill a charger when the flamethrower does it in 4 seconds.

I wish devs would spend time playing the game not just making it they would see the problems and what makes it fun and not fun.. I ask myself a lot wen I run into bs like do they even play the game or are they just doin a few things callin it 😂 we need actual gamers making games smh devs are to worried about making a dollar we are slowly losing gaming

And the brainless things are them makin level 20 unlocks weaker then start weapons or page 10 warbond weapons worse then starting weapons 😂

The flamethrower is a level 1 weapon it in no way should kill heavy’s faster then The rail gun a level 20 weapon 😂 again do they even play the game themselves it makes the grind pointless what are we working towards come on guys what’s goin on

dont, wait til mechs release. This game is trash and for people who like being punished for no reason. Even the devs take pleasure in player base torture gameplay

lol it's not "trash" and if you watched my video, the dev team clearly said they are currently balancing all weapons and will most likely buff weapons once more once everything is on a balanced playing field@@rogue-ish5713
