Worth noting, I've formed these opinions with all ship modules unlocked!

Railcannon desperately needs a use time buff. As it is now, it is here to kill 1 enemy, far less than other slightly less single target options like precision strike or 500 kg, while doing similar damage. The thing needs to be able to used more consistently for me to consider using it. Such a shame too, it feels so good to use

Oooo what a great talking point, Mantis. I think I remember you mentioning this on stream. I guess the counter-point is that it is so powerful, if it was a lower cool down it would be OP? A hard one to balance for sure!

Orbital Railcannon strike should one-shot a Bile Titan regardless of where it is hit on the creature. They should also bump up the damage and penetration to make that happen, and they should also reduce the cooldown to 2 minutes at worst.

Tip for the spear: when you are closer to a charger than you would like, due to the trajectory of the missle, time your shot to when the charger raises its head so that the missle hits its forehead instead of the top of the charger

Tried the SPEAR after we played yesterday and it was great until it crashed my game. No clue to why it’s doing it. More testing is needed.

It doesn't crash for me. Only time I crash is when I join a squad that's already in battle.

The Breaker Incendiary is a hot pick for many players, but for those who don't know, it makes light work of swarms of shriekers. The spread on the shot makes landing at least one hit a very reliable process, and the ignition effect will do the rest of the heavy lifting. Even more effective than a high output solution like Stalwart!

After I was forced to switch off the eruptor, I haven’t switched off my current loadout in forever. 380mm, quasar,gun drone, auto cannon sentry. Then just explosive shotty, grenade pistol and incendiary nade and I find I can pretty much solo most of the map. Although I’ve been considering trading the 380mm for walking barrage but it’s just so nice to just throw the 380 into the middle of a large hive and just walk away while it clears the nest. 😅

Breaker, Grenade Pistol, stuns. Paired with supply backpack, heavy machine gun, orbital rail cannon and 110 rocket pods.

rocket pods are really growing on me!

I've been using the Grenade Launcher with Blitzer Primary with RailGun, 110 Rocket Pods, Supply Backpack. This is REALLY good against bile spewers which have been my sworn enemy since day one. Blitzer is good against stalkers for the little bit of push back because going without a shield against stalkers can be risky. The only real issue are bile titans and chargers. Chargers you can stun and nail them in the butt with the grenade launcher. I believe it is 3-4 grenades to the butt and they are gone. The Bile Titans it is more about cracking the armor and finishing them off with grenades.

5:10 Strafing run has always been good at sweeping spewers; it had ap4 previously, which let it do full damsge to spewers. The playerbase just never gave it much of a chance because airstrike was overall better due to only one less charge The ap buff let it consistently take out terminid objectives like shriekers nests and lightly damage heavies, and give the extra charge.

I mainly used the strafing run for big hordes of the more common enemies like warriors, Hunters or brood commanders.

How is the Jar 5 Dominator not on the list. It's an S tier weapon. The recoil issues disappear in first person, and it's stagger and damage wreck everything that the adjudicator does more ammo efficiently. Just have to be on point aiming

It’s got a frustrating red dot sight and low fire rate, but it is my fav in bots for its utility and lack of dmg falloff compared to other weapons. If your a scorcher user you know how that projectile can “stick” to the armor surrounding the devastators head as opposed to the jar-5 being like firing a hotdog down a hallway. I agree, S tier.

didn't realize from your pov how independent I play from the team 👀 probably explains why i was taking so much bot aggro in your clips either way decent video, but don't forget how good the dominator is against both factions :>

I wish I'd included rocket pods in this video actually. Had some good success with them since the buff!

For bugs I’ve been using napalm and has a ton. Having nice area control makes even some helldive missions easy as a solo.

I've been using the MG turret. It's cooldown makes it a great decoy/cover fire when reloading on the longer reloading weapons

Hey, Phase! Keep in mind with your flamethrower advice, I don't know if you have the ship upgrade that improves your incendiary damage - but I don't yet. I'll give it a shot, but I might not see quite the results you're seeing here.

How many folks have had a terrible time getting the eagle strikes to land in the new forestry map? It really talked me into taking the orbital precision strike and Gatling strike instead of the airstrike and 500kg. The orbital precision is now my goto outside of orbital scatter affected missions for titans.

Even if there is not any change in game helldivers 2 I would greatly appreciate your opinion on the idea of implementing a slight increase in the threshold for ragdoll with medium armor, and a significant increase in the threshold for ragdoll with heavy armor. Additionally, when talking to some others on the discord it was suggested that extra padding could potentially decrease flinching, providing two benefits like the other armor types. It was also suggested that light armor should remain unchanged. What are your thoughts on this proposal?

Yo! I think all of the above suggestions are absolutely spot on. I've said in a previous video where I discussed content and features I'd like to see in the future that armour should play more of role in the power fantasy. Light armour does this well ... You're fast, you can get more distance using the jetpack in combination with it. The trade off is you are squishier, which is fair. The other armours don't really do this. I mentioned that heavy armour preventing flinch would be a great starting point. I hadn't considered a reduction in ragdolling an avenue to explore - I really like this idea! Thank you for sharing!

My go to is the jet pack/AMR, AC or spear with Gatling barrage, 500kg and precision strike.

Bug: Purnisher, Grenade pistol, Spear/Flamethrower (depending on teammates), Impact fire grenade Bot: Slugger/Counter sniper, Grenade pistol/Bushwhacker, Autocannon, Stun grenade

Good video, but the tenderizer performs better against trash mobs and stripped charger legs than Adjudicator, and would benefit just as much from the supply pack. But yeah it’s better against the other armored bugs.

The Chicken Tendy vs Adjudicator debate is a good one!

Funny. I've been running blitzer/grenade pistol / quasar / light medic armor for a while now the only downside about the blitzer is not having the ability to target stripped charger legs.

Weapons: Incendiary Breaker, Senator, Stun Grenade Strats: Supply Pack, Grenade Launcher, 500kg, Orbital Precision Strike Armor: Light Gunner This is the way.

Throwing knives are worth taking on certain bug loadouts right now. Due to (probably) a bug, they can 4 shot chargers in the legs, making them almost harmless once you learn how the knives aim. I've been taking those for my dedicated charger clearing, then something like auto cannon so I can smite bile spitters, or supply pack and one of the machine guns if I wanna spam bullets. Just bring some titan killers (500kg, orbital rail, precision strike, etc, etc). The knives aren't as good as the flamer thrower for dedicated charger clearing, but they let you save a slot for more air support, or different strats.

I did wonder if the 4 shot knife tech was staying! You have raised somethings that I did try out, especially the MG but I wanted to try keep it under 15 mins long! I love the Stalwart!! You raise a good point re: the extra slot too! That is nice!

My loadout for the bugs are the machinegun auto cannon century emancipator mech and orbital railcannon for evac.

It shouldn't take 30 seconds to kill 1 behemoth charger with the cannon tho. correction it takes longer cause of the wind up.

Thoughts on guard rover for bugs? Is it not worth brining anymore?

In my experience, the laser one is good because it points out where enemies are, but they also can be bad if you're trying to not engage with every patrol. In general I think the current meta just views the guard dog as a crutch and under-powered for taking up a strategem slot. Def useful before like level 15-20 but I stopped using mine when I started getting heavy orbital/eagle/sentry strategems unlocked.,

The *NEW BEST BUILD* is play whateva the fuck ya want and just have fun.

The best build is what you yourself want it to be i try to use as much dif stuff as i can but i always use the new carbine and autocannon combo or the stallwart/machingun with the explode crossbow the rest is what i want

@@PhaseShifter thnx the magic of the new carbine lies with its high rate of fire its a little slower than the stallwart just pair it with a eat and a supply pack and your good to go my go to for med armor enemies is the machinegun turret with its reduced respawn time its become a staple to clear chaff

spear was always amazing for me now its awesome but the problem is it crashes the game now

Agreed - just been playing and was fine but maybe I got lucky!

Spear is great the lockon and range are much better but it crashes the game for some reason, not a risk im willing to take until they fix it. I admit they buffed the adjudicator pretty well but against bots i would still choose the sickle everytime.

If I ever see some dummy bringing cluster to bots or air strike to bugs we need to have a talk.

The spear is bugged at the moment. Its crashing games.

Nobody has mentioned this but they nerfed the pummeler in a very meaningful way. It used to stagger hulks and devastators but it doesn't anymore....so it went from being my go to for bots to trash tier. They JUST RELEASED IT! AH I swear if anything gets nerfed in the viper commandos 1 month after release, I will simply quit the game, I am tired of you removing the fun from weapons that are FUN.

@@PhaseShifter I took the knife to a level 3 to test it. It did exactly zero damage against a chicken walker and failed to destroy a basic bot after two hits. Why exactly would anyone replace their useful grenades with the knife? If the automatons behaved like the Borg, they would see helldivers with knives, consider them not a threat, and ignore them.

The spear is fine but my game keep on crashing. Especially during aiming mode and running while holding spear.

I'm playing a different game.... The assault rifles are hot garbage the magazines are too small... basically conventional weaponry sucks in this game that's my opinion arc blitzer plasma punisher are my go too primaries

Thanks for the feedback! I guess the point is that there isn't really a "META" or "1 Build To Rule Them All". That being said, I understand why you would want something more concrete at the end given the title. I'm still experimenting with video packaging and the format. I will take this on-board. I run PS5 and have no issues with crashing. In fact, AH admits that most their performance issues and crashing is happening on PC, even with good hardware. PS5 handles the game well.
