That's probably the most beautiful launch I've seen in a 2wd hellcat, with or without slicks. NOBODY can launch those 2wd cinder blocks without spinning out

The 2019 dodge charger Hellcat, according to Car and Driver, does the quarter mile in 11.4 seconds at 128 miles per hour, and that is on the factory street tires. Also according to Car and Driver, the 2019 GTR Nismo( not the GTR here but it is the fastest factory GTR) does the quarter mile in 11.1 seconds at 126 miles per hour. The GTR has a slower trap speed, but from the factory it is faster off the line because of computer-assisted all wheel drive. It lost to the Hellcat in this video because the Hellcat had slicks. The drag slicks enable the Hellcat to be faster off the line than the GTR, but with or without the slicks, the Hellcat runs a higher trap speed than the GTR from the factory. Maybe the video wasn't that clear to you, but to me it was rather obvious the GTR was not catching up to the Hellcat.

There’s another gtr race on this same channel in fact it’s GTR whooping on different hellcats back to back there was like 6 different hellcats or more and the gtr whooped them all

They will buy them and since they are race fans they will take them to the track but that is not a every day job for them. The older versions are way more attractive. 1970 Dodge Charger and R34 GTR. The new charger is just a plain sedan that’s way too big and heavy and the R35 looks like a plain Infiniti coupe

My 2010 GT-R with intakes and Chinese made exhaust with bigger injectors, pumps and tune total upgrades $3700.00 including labor ran consistent 10.60 1.70 60ft spinning all four run flats at 133-135.23 mph. 10.02 on Drs and 9.98 on slicks. The hell cat is no comparison to the GT-R in any aspect especially in a roll race with a dual action two step. I was able to launch my off car the line and from any speed between 45-90mph.

I thought the GTR was going to get completely murdered. It faired surprisingly well!

And if it was a GTR Nismo it would even win by more. 0-60 in 2.5. A redeye challenger would be more impressive, but either GTR would win. A Nismo would finish at least 2 cars ahead.

That charger isn't stock the GTR would literally gap it instantly if it was lmao, The GTR on the other hand is stock

You know that in the corners the hellcat always looses unless you add the widebody package to it which is now standard on the 2020 charger hellcat which tops out at 80k 💰
