Did this to mine within a week of bringing it home. I did have to go back later and retighten as it came loose. I redid the 3m tape in different locations and snuggled it back up and havent had an issue in 8000 miles. Major improvement in looks.

Yo! I LITERALLY got mine today in the mail!!! I'm gonna be installing my Hellcat spoiler over the weekend. I remember when Red Hemi and I, were talking about getting the spoiler... and looks like we've FINALLY got them!!! Great video for others wanting to dri this install.

@@dripcat707 i got mine off amazon for $100 painted. Its one piece but i have the 08 charger so the holes didnt match i had to drill my own and use butterfly to hold it dowm

I did similar with the plugs. I got them from autozone. Painted with factory spray paint and clear coat. Than installed with rt a d a washer or two below since the plugs were body panel plugs. Over 6 months no leaks. Love the look of the hell at spoiler. Just gotta decide if I want the wicker bill. Great video.

Got mine coming in next week. Along with a shark fin rear Diffuser and window louver. So much to install, right before heading from Ohio to Seattle to visit my brother. I may just wait to install the mods after I get back. I can't wait though. lol

You can get a big eraser that fits in your drill that makes removing the 3m tape easy with no damage. Great video

Just mine in today, this is quite an easy install. It seems intimidating at first because you have to take apart a few things, but I knocked the taking off and putting on in less than 15mins. The longest part is after...getting the 3m tape residue off... Yicks that too more than 30mins for me... mind you I did everything alone... Oh I found and easy and fast way to get the plastic rivets/clips off that are on both side pieces to the OEM RT spoilers. Just take a lighter to them and they melt off in seconds, if definitely beats trying to pry them off.

Changing mine out today. Should also look into replacing the charger and the R/T emblems on the trunk. I was able to get the RT in black/red. And then the charger emblem in black. Both easy to pop off and replace.

I did the same thing I used the 3m tape, it's been on for months now no problem.

I like it it looks good, but I do think I like the look of the three-piece with the Wicker Bill more. I like more of a pro touring or road course look, but if the man is happy like I always say that's paramount

My spoiler still in the box, it's been two years and I finally decided to deal with all bunch of holes and fishing line, and plugs...thanks dodge, not need of 4 friking holes. By the way my spoiler only came with three holes two on far side and one center one.

BlackTopHemi 17 Carven 5” Tips in a polished finish. They’re meant to be a direct bolt on for 6.4’s and up but I got adapters to try to make them fit on my exhaust

Wasn't to bad but there were issues we had to deal with.. the people that wrapped my stock wing fucked my car up .. instead of taking wing off and wrap it they took a razer blade to cut the extra wrap but they cut into the paint with the razer blade.. fucking dicks.. so I have an outline carved into my paint deep as fuck all the way around truck and quarter panel

@@CTHellcat only the back side but all the front Is seeable and on the quarter panels u can see .. so I talked to my wrap guy and we gonna do a custom Daytona style wrap .. like the rear end of a charger Daytona decal

Completely agree. Though adding a cold air intake is a cheap way to add a little extra punch to a 5.7L and it sounds a little nicer too.

I got prices for 850- 950 for prices and just fixing the holse

It took some time do to the fact I had got my stock wing wrapped before I did this the assholes that wrapped it took a razer blade to the paint to cut the wrap so they fucked my shit up I had to wet sand and do a lot of wheel work but still didn't come out so now I got to do a wrap to cover it.. they fucked my car up bad

What size were those plugs you put in the old spoiler holes?

So the Spoiler King model is 4 bolts? Because a lot of the wing spoiler knockoffs I've seen were only 3 bolts and NONE of them lined up with the factory holes. I didn't want to think about drilling holes in the deck.

I will be in Maryland tomorrow to look at car same exact car as yours Road and track rt 2016

What parts did you use to cover the holes of the previous spoiler?

Quick question with spoiler we dont need to make more holes on your car right it fits perfectly on the same ones already there.

You don’t actually have to unscrew the side one they’re clamped in you just use a plastic tool to pry them off

Add ps wd40 works great on tape and residue

MOPARGuy The spoiler will pretty much apply to nearly any trunk. I recently installed mine on my 2016 and even if the curvature of the trunk isn’t exactly the same you can just use 3M adhesive or the bolts to secure it. The process is basically the same, remove factory spoiler, plug holes, attach new spoiler. They are also very affordable if you go aftermarket with some under $200.

MOPARGuy Yeah I agree it looks a bit off, but it is possible if you wanted to go for it. Honestly, there are so many aftermarket spoiler options available nowadays you should be able to find something that looks good on the older body style.

It will fit your car u might have to drill the holes or just use 3m tape but I want some screws in there but they will fit your car

What size are the hole plugs?

When I installed the hellcat spoiler on my SXT, the trunk wont open automatically all the way up like it used to, instead, it would just be like challengers trunk after you pressed the button to open. I think it’s because the extra weight of the spoiler that caused this. Not a big deal, but did you guys meet the same problem or the trunk still works the same as used to before the installation (Trunk opens all the way up automatically)?
