The man holding the mic at five minutes and 20 seconds into the video, told the other gentleman that in order for him to be Christian… And then he named off a bunch of other things that are not required to be saved. The only thing required is to believe that Jesus is our salvation. That’s it. Believe that he lived a perfect life, was crucified and resurrected three days later not all of us you got to repent of your sins and get baptized and go to church and and pick up your cross and follow Christ and works works works works works. And when you have a microphone and you’re standing in front of hundreds of people, tell them the truth!

It’s all just semantics, really. The early church called themselves “followers of the way.” The early persecutors of the church are the ones who actually coined the term “Christian”, but it doesn’t matter to me, so long as I know I have truly repented, and received Jesus into my heart. I proudly call myself a Christian, because I think it’s cowardly not to, however, I don’t think you’re a coward. That’s not what I’m saying. I just think it’s all semantics. I honestly love your way of saying “follower of Jesus Christ”, so long as you aren’t judging others for calling themselves a Christian. (Not that you are) I don’t judge you, but I think it doesn’t matter, so long as you’re saved. Just don’t let the label become the religion. Focus on Jesus alone, and if someone who hates God accuses you of being a Christian, it would be silly to say, no, I’m not a Christian. I’m a follower of Jesus Christ. Any sane person is going to respond yes, I am a Christian.

One of the problems is that pastors are not teaching sound doctrine.

My 7year old granddaughter has taught me a lot about what it really means to be a true Christian I believe in God but she not only believes in Him,she also tells others about God I taught her about Jesus when she was very young But I didn't teach her everything somehow she just knew, That little girl makes sure to say the blessing every time we eat and she makes sure we all hold hands while she says it and it doesn't matter how many people are there, we ALL hold hands and say amen. Also when she talks to other children about God and Jesus they don't even know who that is and she tells me this with shock in her voice. Also she has never said a cuss word... EVER despite her being around it all her life, I've been around a lot of kids most of my life including my own kids and none of them were like that so I now strive to live like her, she is my teacher and I am so proud

In reality there is no literal burning hell in somewhere in a place but a separation from God so its more allegorical terminology its a state not a place. God is love who loves all his children and that is why christ died for all not for the righteous but for the sinners

​@kellyblakeborough3371 that is not what Jesus taught. He talked about hell more than anyone else in the Old or New Testaments combined. He makes it very clear that hell is a literal place where there will be eternal fire, outer darkness, the gnashing of teeth, the worms that eat them will not die and comparea hell to Gehenna. Why? Because Gehennah was a dump where people threw out everything that was no longer useful, like household items, animal carcasses and dead criminals. A fire was perpetually burning and it must have reaked horribly, not to mention the worms (which may refer to maggots or to a person's tormented conscience - knowing that they blew it by rejecting Christ). That is what Jesus compared hell to. Many scholars believe that the story of the rich man and Lazarus was a true story, not a parable for 3 reasons: Jesus never mentioned names in his other parables, he didn't interpret the story nor did he end the story with a moral.

Faith is not a feeling. God does not change. Our feelings do based on our circumstances. We stand on the rock of Jesus Christ who does not change! Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Feelings change He does Not. He is there even if you do not “feel” Him. He also said “and remember I am with you always even until the end of the Age.” Matthew 28:20 If we confess our sins God who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1John 1:9

@@jayseg I know that God doesn't change I know that our feelings change. What I'm saying is that my feelings haven't changed at all. I've been going to church for over 5 years now and I've been baptized twice and I've done that I can't remember the name of the prayer anyway I've done a lot of things but I've seen people that change I've seen the joy and happiness that comes over them. I feel none of that. Absolutely none. And I don't feel love at all. I know that I am loved I just mean that I don't feel love going out of me towards anything if you know what I mean. It is not up to us to change people, Only to tell them about Jesus and his love. We are called to pray for our Christian family, our blood family and all other non believers. We should pray for peace, strength and protection of Israel and God's people the Jews and percecuted Christians around the world. The Lord does the work in everyone's heart. Sometimes it takes years but we can never give up praying.

I worry about my extended family and my grn kids too. But we have to remember, some of us were unbelievers too at some point. God is the One that calls us to Himself. HE alone prepared our hearts to receive the word. All we do is share our testimony with others. Jesus said that there are different kinds of soil. He is the One that makes it grow. So we use our tools.... Prayer. We ask him to please prepare their hearts, to please make them reflect on what God has done, to make them see their blessings, the way He has protected them and the way His hand has favored them in the world. We pray that He has mercy on them just like He had mercy on us and other sinners. If God forgave King Manasseh in ancient times and today forgives and accepts ex-radical Muslim terrorists, He could do the same for our families. God chooses the vile to shame the intelligent, the lowest of the low, HE brings up. He picks my head up and makes me the head and not the tail. We run to Him and cry to Him who made us and ask Him to do the same for our loved ones. Then we thank Him for what He will do. It might take weeks, months or even years but He listens and His perfect will, will be done.

Oprah is not understanding God’s jealousy. He’s not jealous of His people; He’s a jealous God who doesn’t want to share His people with anyone or anything.

I was dumbfounded when I heard those words being uttered from her mouth. Such is the case of many so-called Christian. I did see that clip where she wanted to channel Marilyn Monroe's spirit. It's unbelievable. Those people need to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, they need to be made anew, born from above, born from spirit. I am afraid that their heart is so hardened by their fame and status. But we must press on by continuing to preach the gospel.

i am very open about my relationship with God and Christ. it gets easier to do the more you do it. i've had coworkers poke fun at me for it before but i pray for them instead of getting angry at them. we should feel bad for people who are lost like that. and we should pray that God can use us to help them come to know Him. when i get angry or think something mean, i always feel instant regret and i ask God for forgiveness and to help me do better. if you do not admit that you did something wrong and do not ask God for forgiveness, you aren't really walking with God at all. that's just my two cents on the matter. As a dad who just loss his daughter to suicide/murder, and then my oldest son to drug overdose Fentynal, within two months apart, I understand your pain, and heartache. Myself, thier death has made me look into the mirror, and take inventory, not just to have lip service for God, but with all my heart, mind, and soul surrender the life Jesus has given me. That's where you're peace, that surpasses all understanding will come from. This was amazing! I prayed the prayer when I was young, and I had been relying on that for my salvation for many years. Meanwhile as I grew up I was becoming more and more like the world. Finally, about a month ago God humbled me enough and sent the Holy Spirit to convict me and I repented of my sins and submitted myself to the Lord Jesus Christ! The change that i have seen in my life since then has been amazing. God opened my eyes!

I had been luke warm all my life and when I finally read the Bible...I read that since I was lukewarm... Jesus would spit me out. 😮e I read somewhere seek and He will find you. This is why we should not judge any of the people in this video. Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. I believe you when you say you weren't worthy and He pulled you out of darkness. But you do not fully submit to do His will. You are not perfect yet. You will struggle and fail everyday. Yet you are saved. The process of sanctification is long and not easyl and you will never achieve perfect submission on this earth. His Grace is sufficient though.

As believers we also need to be very careful about proclaiming ourselves as ultimate judgement. When someone asks me if I think someone else is a Christian my answer is always ‘I don’t know, only God can see their heart’. Even with a transformed heart people are still sinners and fall short.

I'm a Christian but I have trouble when it comes to the way our property tax system interprets the appeals process any way they want to whenever it comes time to appeal; they throw out all the terms used for the appeals form and value your home any way they want to - they lie about the comparison homes and start talking about the replacement value depreciated - a house that doesn't exist and lie about the homes that were assessed lower than mine. It is enough to drive a body mad. I can't afford a lawyer - and I can no longer continue to deal with these people who lie - cheat, and steal, using inappropriate terms. I have fried my brain trying to deal with these people. There is no making sense of them and I'm about ready to lose my mind and whatever sanity I have left. I can't deal with it any more. It's tearing me up inside and I'm wondering where God's protection of the poor, the widows, the orphans, etc., are in this. There needs to be a miracle in here somewhere. These people are lunatics, disregarding the law and twisting it to suit their purposes. Someone help.....PLEASE.

People really honestly don't understand what this means. It means sure you helped others and you cast out demons but your heart was and is still ugly and cold. That's what Jesus means by this statement, that you have changed and are full of love and spread the message of love,not condemnation, but rather LOVE.
