Such a good series.
Awesome... you captured the essence of what Cullen is all about through the music and the scenes...
Just love Cullen and this video is so reflective of him................cannot wait to see what happens once he leaves the camp
WOW...this song fits Cullen perfectly. Wonderful job!
I've loved this album since I was a kid! And having just discovered HoW, I caught myself thinking of this song most of the way through Season One. Thanks for putting this together and sharing it. It fits perfectly!
Great show, Great job putting this together. Thank you. It was fantastic.

LOVE Cullen!! Can't wait for S2. Thanks for the vid.
Wow! LM, you have totalty outdone yoyrself on this one. The raw emotion and turmoil that Cullen feels is displayed so well in the scenes and the song brings it all together. This os so AWESOME. I'm putting it on my featured page! I absolutely LOVE IT!!
Perfection! This song and video is my fav fan vid! Excellent!
Thanks for the nice comment..! I am also excited to see season 2 in August :)
GOOD LORD, i am absolutely speechless:o This is INCREDIBLE.I saw some of your scenes as BADMAN, but this...is AMAZING.Thank you soo much!!
Thank You* ..I too have loved this album since I was a kid. It's like Hell On Wheels was made for this song. Cheers
great rhythm and combination of scenes!
Love it!
@silverchex Thanks SO Much..! You just made my day :) This song has been waiting for this show since 1978..! Wish they would remaster this album.! It's called White Mansions. The entire album follows a man like Bohannon from start of The Civil War to Reconstuction. Cheers DK
@armitage36 Great songs and artists! My family is from Oklahoma and Texas but I was not raised there. Looking forward to more Hell on Wheels this summer! I also like the new group The Civil Wars. They definitely have that southern sound...
Matt love Eric Clapton & Cullen Bohannon, lol. Man love logging on & seeing you made another vid for your Bohannon girls :) Oh man, can't wait til season 2 now.
Extremely moving!
@armitage36 Checked out the album. Don't know how I missed that one but its good from what I can see and hear. I listened to all the outlaw bands back then, Waylon, Willie, Kris... Thanks for bringing it to my attention ;)
Yes, it seems to be written just for Cullen Bohannon :D
@MegaScifigirl You are too KooL :) I love being Featured on your page..!! I am so happy you like the way it turned out. Not bad for a six hour edit.! hehe HugZ
Great vid Bro
@silverchex It's a rare album.! My dad had to order it back in 1981 from the record company. I was 10 when I heard it for the first time, and loved it.! Mostly only Cival War Reenactors know about this album. It is a favorite amongst us Southerners :) Waylon is The Best..!!!
This show went off the fucking rails... Damn.
Nice job synching the song to the clips!!
great
I think it's time you get a job in Hollywood, Matt :D :D
Jesus , did they write this song for him ? It’s like word for word his life
Awesome vid to a most awesome show and the last two hours of the season last night was also awesome..Did I say awesome often enough?

what do you mean?
@gemmasasha Thanks, Hope I did not spoil any future episodes you have not seen yet.!? Let me know when you finish Hell On Wheels.
it was like this song was written specifically for Cullen and HOW!
@whsportman94 Me Too..! Thanks for watching :)
Это великолепно!!!
Eric Clapton did not play on this track. The song is Bad Man from the 1978 White Mansions album. I still have it. The song was sung by John Dillon. The guitar was played by Bernie Leadon. Eric Clapton played on two tracks only. Electric slide on White Trash sung by Steve Cash and Kentucky Race horse sung by Jessi Colter. They have put a lot of thought into the music for this wonderful series.
@jojoheartspaypay No, Thank You :) I am happy it is done ..cause this song is Cullen Bohannon, or the other way around.! I only spent six hours on it :( Kinda wish I would have taken a bit longer, cause there are a few scenes I would have not used. I still like it, don't get me wrong :) I wish the record company would remaster the White Mansions album..! Would be a hella lot clearer than this..!!!
Thanks.! I sit corrected :) I knew it did not sound like Eric Clapton, but youtube said it was him ..so I put it up as his. I was hoping someone would find the real singer for me ..took you long enough.! lol I will correct my mistake. Cheers..!!
I wanna know what he did with his froak coat
Thanks :) I hope to make some more season two vidz soon.?
Bohannon and Montana would have made a kick ass team.
@phoward89 Yes, I have a lot of Female Friends for some strange reason.?? LOL Some pretty KooL guys that like the show stop by as well. This ViD I did mainly for Me :) I got this album back in 81 when I was 9, and been loving it ever since.!! I had to order it from the record store. When I saw the first episode this song pop'd in my head.! This song has been waiting for this show since 1978.! hehe I have a good friend on here "jojoheartspaypay" she is a huge fan of this album as well. Cheers.DK
I can’t find this song anywhere...
@black28z ThankZ..! This is My Fav ViD of mine from H.O.W. Bring on Season 2..!!

You know what would be absolutely amazing? If you put this song > kzread.info/dash/bejne/lXmcsMiipabPiso.html in the background of this video instead of Bad Man, it matches absolutely perfect, I've listened closely to be sure if it wasn't just me & if u notice, at a time Cullen shoots someone in this video there's light sounds of thunder in the background at the EXACT moment he shoots, it would make an excellent video! If someone manages to do this comment the video here, that would be EPIC!!!
I liked it better when Bohannon was a real badass on the show- I still love the show but think they toned him down too much.

+thortontheduckie403 Thank You.! I enjoyed making it. I too think the show had so much potential, and got lost along the way, Big Time..!!

+thortontheduckie403 truth is if they really wanted to make it cutting edge, they needed to have a bit more (especially after the first season) unrepentant Confederate than they probably were comfortable doing. He has some of that in first season but seems to fade away entirely after that. I can see his moving on past a war he hated but some things burn deep. Like he said he wouldn't kill Sidney but he would arrest him. Sidney needed killing. So, that was an example of his old loyalties kicking in as late as 4th season, but that is only thing I recall.Making him a bit more, well, late 19th century racist (with southern twist, no less) would have been more realistic but would have interfered some with Elam plot line.

teller121 he focused gunslinger never really went confederate in the first season. The show follows him becoming a businessman and the hero the railroad needed. He can’t stay a rebel
