Alright, some stuff I missed: - Use Community TAA. All AA options have the same performance impact and you have to use them, there's no way around that. - Use -dx12 command in the launcher to make sure you get the most performance

at 6:00 Post processing effects don't only affect particles but are also things like depth of field, light rays, etc. Basically effects that are added on top of everything. I think the setting changes the amount of bloom on particles which is why they seem to look different, hope this clears things up

Dam love these videos! One weird problem I have is I have highlights/shadows flicker/moves sometimes in tree limbs and grass, and it confuses the crap out of me! Sometimes rocks will twitch in the ground, weird. I do have a 680 gtx sooo im limited LOL, but it was free!

Thanks for the content, great video. A tip on your audio is ease off of the noise gate a bit. The beginning and end of your words are being cut off and it is quite distracting. For example listen at 2:02 "isn't oo bad" the T is completely lost. This makes what you're saying sound robotic and stuttery.

Yeah, it's my first time trying to use a noise gate to limit the echo that was very bad in this one (I moved stuff out of my studio so now it's more empty space). I'll do better next time.

@@monoespacial You can do wonders with a few blankets/towels (hang them temporarily). A cheap trick is to record *under* a blanket lol. Probably looks funny but it works :) I'd suggest if you need to go this far with a gate then just live with the echoes. No worries man, just my constructive feedback, thanks for the video!

@@monoespacial yo, if you adjust the release on the gate, say an increase of 20ms or so, it should help with that. also keep in mind, it's more work, but you can do gain automation as well if you have access to a DAW.

Running 4k on a cx10 48" and getting 100-110 avg gps. 6800xt, 3950x, SSD, 32gb Ram. Looks fantastic! All epic settings, low shadows. Not running dx12 fix, causes crashing or freeze for me.

Yeah, if anything they'll do nothing, but at least the -dx12 thing still works, for sure.

also, if you have a 3440 x 1440 monitor try changing the in game resolution to 2560 x 1440, changed to the blurry effect for me

What FOV do you use? I have a 3440x1440p ultra wide monitor and I'm not sure which one is best

For accurate messure you would have had to restart the game after changing every setting.

Thanks dude, I played for the first time tonight on the default settings and was getting 65 to 75 fps with no kills. After matching your settings In 1440 I was getting 130 fps average and got 3 kills lol.

I run on i7 7700k and rtx 3070 at 1440p @165hz gsync, and i have 120 fps all epic only mb off in dx12. but in some places on the map fps down at 60. The biggest problem remain the freezeng...

Well, that is true for every pc game ever made pretty much. If you're able to run at a higher framerate, you will always be at an advantage. So running the game at lower settings to get a higher framerate is always the right choice.

@@monoespacial But that is not the case with HLL You have to turn your settings down to be competitive. Like I said I can run my PC on epic & get good FPS. But I have to turn my visuals down so I’m not at a disadvantage. All of this was meant to be fixed in update 9. I still love the game just hope this issue is fixed sooner rather than later.

@@matk4731 "you have to turn your settings down to be competitive". No. Turning down your settings gives you a competitive advantage. You can still do really well without it. That is the case for every single multiplayer PC game that I know of. Battlefield, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, Rainbow Six Siege. As long as a game has graphical settings available, the lower setting will almost always provide a competitive advantage.

@@monoespacial I don’t play any of those other games. I gave up on COD a while ago. & the games you mentioned aren’t even in the same league as what HLL is trying to do here. I play ARMA & HLL. I think you are missing what I’m trying to say. Lowering your graphics settings should not give you a competitive advantage. Every one should experience the same amount of cover. Your video certainly was an eye opener for me & I will be taking advantage of it for sure. Hopefully this issue will be fixed as promised soon.

I've upgraded my PC, now how Radeon and I'm using "image Sharpening" set to 10, anymore added the shimmering.

Community TAA at 1080p for me has been basically identical to standard.. I’ve found myself using Clarity for the sharpness since the update because everything else just feels too fuzzy :( I had used the .ini custom changes you made a video about before & those were so good, nothing’s been coming close to how that was since U9 locked it

The directX cache helped me a pretty good amount, and making sure my reset distance was ‘high’ rather than epic was big.. I realize the community TAA might be the same as before, but because they don’t let you resolution scale past 100% now it’s not as good on 1080p as it used to be

Okay, so why the hell does the lighting change when adjusting texture quality? This is wonky as hell.

I get 200 fps. Smooth gameplay. But the wheat field at Kursk pops in and out at relatively close range. And trees flicker during side to side movement with the mouse. Running Community TAA Ryzen 7800x3d 32 GB RAM nVidia 4070 Super 1440p The flickering is really annoying. I'm assuming it's anti-aliasing. Used to do this on my PS5 when I first got HLL.

Post Processing effects the sun glare in your eyes, Medium and it's almost non existent, High and Epic you get sun in your eyes as an effect, So having it on medium also makes it much easier to see

Yo iVET, I need to work on it, just like everything else regarding U10 (Weapon ranking, tank guide, etc). I've been on vacation and new Ghost of Tsushima DLC is coming in 5 days, which I also want to feature on the channel so yeah... might be a while. They are also releasing a performance patch soon so I might wait till that's released.

I just put everything on epic. Never seen the FPS counter go below 40 and that's usually during heavy bombardments, lots of players on screen and there are lots of bullets flying

I doubt you'll be able to run the game at all. Wait for a free weekend to try it out or make sure to use Steam's 2hr refund policy if needed.

Weird, these settings made my FPS go down by 30 fps on avg. I'm running a Radeon 6900 XT with a Ryzen 5900 CPU. Averaging 115 FPS

It's going to depend on the map, your role, playstyle, etc. Don't focus too much on k/d.

Nothing! It’s HHL. Just following the advice in this video but those FPS numbers are pretty good for that GPU. The 2060 is a excellent GPU Cuz.

It's HLL's problem, buying that game is like playing the russian roulette, I couldn't get more than 30 stable fps (even tried with everything on low), even though my pc had the specs to run it. Yeah, got my refund.

I have similiar setup and also have the same problems. They had one great patch like ages ago, when the game was running so smooth on high /medium settings, even during graphically intense scenes, however ever since one patch from last december or so, performance went down so bad.

That's what I have also noticed. Like I have every thing except motion blur on epic and it just dosent feel crisp. I also play squad and granted this game is more visually appealing and all but what ever settings I try, it just doesn't feel right. Most of my game goes in tweaking the settings.

I have similar issue and still trying to try out graphics settings. I just started playing a couple of days ago and i am not impressed with my settings or the game. PS was easier to setup in my opinion.

You can re-sharpen the image in your Nvidia / AMD driver setting (specifically for HLL). A solution that works for me is using community TAA + slight NVIDIA resharpening (0,25 sharpness and 0.1 filmgrain).

From my knowledge this should work but but you may have to turn down shadow quality and ssao down low. Other wise medium settings will be fine.

I hate this so much, people reducing graphics to have an advantage. Games should be made with this calculated into it. But it's a great video!

I can't quite understand what to do and it's pissing me the F off! I have much more than the system requirements for this game and yet I'm hitting hiccups, lag, and jitters when playing!
