    It is strange to me that right when you speak their language they open up to you, like you're just another person but right when you start speaking their language every stereotype every, thought that you could be a bad person immediately goes out the window. I'm trying to understand why

  • @sauce8277

    @sauce8277

    5 жыл бұрын

    It has to do with connection. Connection to something is formed when you attach preconceived ideas to someone or something. Thats a bad connection. If you know nothing but what you learned from other people about something, something has to form a new connection. And language does that very well. It bypasses knowledge and in ways goes straight to the heart. More and literal things can be better said to explain it but that's alright for now.

    smooth wit it the mail service requires dedication and a lot of hard work. It's a cutthroat job and the turnover rate is extremely high due to many people unable to maintain that type of lifestyle. With that being said, lots of immigrant workers has experienced real poverty and the poorest person in America is still rich in comparison to the average persons in third world countries. My parents are the hardest working people I've ever seen or met and ironically they worked in the postal service prior to their 30 career at their own business with 38 days day remain before retiring.

    Your videos are an inspiration for others wanting to learn a foreign language. I’m learning mandarin and using duo Lingo for now. Ive learned to greet and count all in a couple weeks. I only spend like 30 minutes every other day I should study an hour a day everyday that’s my goal. Keep posting the videos I enjoy them.

    A good tip for learning a new language is to *use multiple sources* I started learning German on duolingo but I was curious and downloaded a free dictionary with basic phrases, so I learnt a quite a lot more phrases Duolingo was my foundation and got me started but watching different German tutorials on youtube and that phrase app helped me a ton (and by no means am I done Im still a beginner but this has sped up the process) Duolingo seems not teach that much vocabulary so in this case the phrase app was a great help

    once again, someone mentions moses as being a genius...he needs to have his IQ checked out, he may legally be a genius (mensa) and just doesn't know it

  • @rh4993

    @rh4993

    5 жыл бұрын

    @Milktank ™, IQ is directly correlated with lots of things like longevity, career success, and vocabulary. The differences are pretty small between around 90 and 130, but anything below 90 or above 130 tends to have a pretty meaningful impact. I'm really hesitant to assume anyone has a genius IQ but Moses would probably at least be at the gifted level considering how quickly he can pick up languages.

    Anything gifted level is because of high iq. Talent itself might not exist it could be just high iq. Iq is technically bs because intelligence can’t be scored per say but all it measures is your ability to understand the world and complicated concepts. Moses is for sure intelligent.

    Mannn your videos made me appreciate Filipino languages more. Your encounter with Filipinos made me realize how much damage our language has incurred over time. At this point in time, "Taglish", and not pure Tagalog, may as well be recognized as the predominant dialect here. I don't know if others notice the same thing with their language as well but with Tagalog, it's sad that the Filipinos Laoshu talk with reply in English most of the time and not in Tagalog and even when some of them talk in Tagalog even just for a few seconds, their grammar really sounded broken and there's still some English mixed to it. That's basically Tagalog now in our country--"Taglish". Like, it's so different with other languages; For example, the Chinese people talk in Mandarin fully when you're using the same and rarely speak English unless there's no equivalent meaning of the word they want to say. Thanks man, you've made me appreciate my own language. I really so promise that here on out, I'd try my best to speak in my native language without mixing English in it. Iginagagalak kitang makilala!
