"woke" originally meant being alert to racism. Then it was hijacked by white, left wing fascists to mean an extreme form of political correctness. Trans Rights Activists have taken that and made it into a cult, unfortunately one that has infiltrated many organizations. So dangerous that they've united people from the left and right to fight them.

The Marxist professors began to flood private & public universities. They systematically changed with attacking the neuclar family, ultra feminism replaced that, ultra feminists were taught that all males were the source of their issues, raising children was evil & oppressive. The LGBTQA ideology took over & it infiltrated every part of academia. Then we had the P.C. sensoring free critical thinking woven throughout all of this. Anything that was prior thought & values is I.D. as "hate speech." Anyone attempting to express opposing thoughts is a "hateful, triggering person." Then the "safe spaces" were created on campuses. It's a literal war on "free speech & critical thinking." Marxists are very good at being organized.

UK was years ahead in both starting and stopping child transition. The US will get there after about the same lag period, which is at least 5 years (Tavistock/GIDS was well into transing kids in 2002; the first US gender clinic, in Boston, didn't open its doors until 2007). There are also at least 2 other things that could drag out the death of the trend in the US: 1/ Unlike the UK NHS, the American health system isn't answerable to the taxpayer-who won't be on the hook if/when it all devolves into massive lawsuits-so less caution is exercised systemwide in the US (in general, not just WRT trans med); 2/ The capitalist interests that stand to gain unimaginable wealth and power if they succeed in normalizing the idea that you need technological intervention to become yOuR aWfEnTiC sElF-and their pet foundations which are pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into the TRA cause-are basically all American.

The difficulty is that one of the genders that you can be identified as is woman but, where it gets difficult is, nobody who says that seems to be able to define what a woman actually is. 'Anyone who identifies as a woman' is as close as they can get, but that still lacks any definition; and so the circus continues.

My girlfriend went to university a bit later at 21, some of the things she experienced are that ridicules you would struggle to believe. One task they got early on was they were shown a map of the hallways of the university where they had just been shown around and they were all asked to mark on the map where they felt the most anxiety or less safe and threatening. My girlfriend had no idea what on earth this was all about but alot of younger students jumped right in and started marking map and debating which hallway was the most unsettling, there was no logical reasons for why they were all so scared but nonetheless they all took part in this. Another one was they watched an old cartoon to study male violence and it came with a trigger warning because in the cartoon from the 40s there was a man who was learing at Betty Boop. Also during a talk about formula 1 glamour girls and how the were exploited my girlfriend disagreed and pointed out the made a fortune and all love their job, the consensus of the class was that my girlfriend, being a bit older was brainwashed just like the formula 1 girls into not realising they were a victim of the patriarchy . This is an institution of higher learning. What happened to us?

All this controversy baked up in colleges and universities is so small by comparison to the rest of us in the world it becomes rather insulting. By contrast, the rest of the problems we face in the world effect 100 percent of the population, not just some infinitely small fraction of the populace. The amount of respect these places of learning receive today is reduced by a quantum figure due to their "pin head" points of view.
